I did AmEx TrueCar. My dealer was the lowest by far, showing $34,215.
However the car was at another dealership and my dealer had to do a dealer exchange to get it. The TrueCar price allowed for an extra $344 for this. My dealer wanted to charge me $1495. Because "We have a subset of TrueCar prices for cars we have to get from other dealers". I called BS. But I threw him a bone and said I will agree to $500 (instead of $344). He agreed. That's how I got $35,115.
Finance Guy (FG) told me I was getting a steal at 3.5 APR/Money Factor, and showed me some crap piece of paper with a Ford logo on it that had leasing rates at 8-9%. Armed with the excellent info above from our moderator I walked in and here's how it went:
ME: "I don't know where you got that paper, but that's not accurate. My sources tell me it's 1.0"
FG: "Well, who are your sources?"
ME: "I have a friend who works for Ford Motor Credit corporate office" (if he could lie, then I could too)
FG: "Oh."
ME: "1.0, or I walk. I don't have to buy the car. But you do have to sell it. So what's it gonna be?"
Finance Guy: "1.0 it is."
AND, as it turns out, the Wear & Tear that they offer ($500ish) is totally negotiable. As is any sort of "preventative auto detailing package. After we pushed back on those, the FG knocked $450 combined off both.

Thank you Edmunds!!
Congratulations - glad you were able to negotiate a deal to your liking.
I always tell people to be polite but firm when talking about inflated MF's.
Hey guys, I was in a few dealerships last night and I want you to tell me if I am getting a good deal or not on a lease. Granted, I am getting out of a current lease with 4 payments left on it of $329/month...
1st deal, 2014 Ford Edge SEL AWD, selling price $36,567.98. Total Rebates $3750 and Residual $21,579.25. They are taking care of 3 of my lease payments and I am paying one of them. Total cash out of pocket is $1550 and payment of $387.30.
2nd deal, 2014 Ford Edge LIMITED AWD, sticker price was 41k I believe. I told them about my first deal and they were going to match the deal with a better vehicle, the Limited, but about $11 more a month. So, it was $1550 out of pocket and $396/month. Sorry, I dont have specific numbers on this car. After, I told them about my 4 payments remaining on my current lease and they would not wipe them out like the 1st dealer, so my monthly ballooned to $427/month.

What do you guys think?
We'd need to know the MSRP and selling price of both cars in order to model the payment.
SEL AWD residual is 52% for 36/15, Limited AWD residual is 51% for same terms. No MF information is available on 2014 models at this time.
Also, what car do you have that you're ending the lease on early? You might find you have more equity than you think - head over to 'Real World Trade in Values' to get an honest estimate of your car. Then, find the payoff value to determine if you have positive (or negative) equity.
The first vehicle MSRP was $38,615 and the selling price was $36,567.98. I'm not sure on the 2nd vehicle and I will post a comment about the equity of my lease trade-in in the other forum. Thanks!

If I use a MF of .75%, the pre-tax payment on the SEL works out to $475.57/mo for 36 months.

Wow, then I guess the 385/month he is offering me is a pretty good deal. Thanks for your help!

The residual is easy... 55%. Money factor is hard without knowing the CAP cost.
Hi - Would appreciate your help for latest December information. Looking to lease 36 mos/12K miles either 3.5 V6 AWD Limited or 3.5 V6 SEL AWD(. ... what is current residual, money factor, etc? Also - any incentives available this month? Thank you!

No MF support from Ford on the 2014 Edge - assume 4-5% or thereabouts.
Residual is 54% for SEL AWD 36/12. Subtract 1% for Limited AWD
Looking to possibly lease a '14 Edge SEL in Norther Cali (near Sacramento). What is the residual and MF? I see you stating some money factors are not available, why is that?

Ford has stopped supporting leases on 2014 models, so the MF information is unavailable.
Does anyone have residual information for NJ lease of ford edge limited with 24 month and 15k or 12k miles per year? I would also appreciate ate it if someone knew the mf or interest rate ford motor credit is using for these leases. Thanks in advance for the help!

I am looking for the MF and residual on a 2014 Ford Edge Sport AWD for 24 and 36 months with 10k/year in NY.
Is the $2750 Red Carpet Lease bonus cash in addition to or in lieu of the $2500 customer cash?
Thank you!!!
0.50% APR and 64% residual.
0.75% APR and 55% residual
I'm pretty sure that the $2750 lease cash is in lieu of the $2500, not additional.

Would the Sport FWD be any different?
