Newbie lease advice - 328i xdrive

I got the following offer for 328i xDrive in WA state (~9% tax). The car has cold weather package, Premium package, harman kardon surround, driver assistance package, mettalic color
MSRP - 46,875
Negotiated price - 42,500
36 month lease:1500 down - $505 per month (including tax) with 65% residual

Can somebody please let me know if this is a good lease deal or not?

    I confirm the 36/12 residual as 65%. The base MF is .00129. With your MSRP and negotiated price and 9% state sales tax, I get a payment of $466.88/mo with $0 cap cost reduction.

    Things to look for:
    1. Find out if the dealer is marking up the MF - can be as high as .00169. You want the base rate of .00129
    2. Ask them for the net cap cost; if it is higher than the negotiated price, get them to explain why
    3. Get a full breakdown of the $1500 due at lease signing.

    Thanks for the reply. A few corrections above:
    1. Negotiated price is 43,500. Final out of the door price with taxes, and fees etc, is 48,100
    2. Cash down was 2500, and there's a $1000 rebate which I added above.

    Will this change the MF above, and is it a good deal, or do I need to negotiate harder?

    .00129 is the base money factor. It appears that your dealer hasn't disclosed the money factor on this deal.

    No, it wasn't. Is this MF something which BMW set? Also, I've given a small security deposit cheque to hold the car (it's gonna come this week) would this still be negogiable?

    BMWFS sets the base rate (.00129 in this case). The dealer is allowed to mark-up the rate for extra profit. The maximum markup is .00169. You don't want to pay a markup, and it's negotiable. But, as in any negotiation, the dealer may not acquiesce.

    A maximum MF markup on this vehicle would add about $33/mo.post-tax to the deal. That's $1200.

    MF was set to .00169, and dealer's wiling to bring it down to .00149, but not budging further.
    Do you think it's a good deal, or should I keep trying?

    .00129 is the base MF; I'm sure there is a BMW dealer out there who will be willing to write up a deal at that rate.
