2016 Audi A6 Premimum Plus

I'm looking at buying an Audi A6 via a 36-month lease 15k/yr. Can someone confirm the residual % and money factor their using for this month.

The car built with Drivers Assistance, LED Headlights, Bose Stereo, 19” wheel package, and Cold weather Package.
The list Price is $64,750. They gave me $4000 off and some credits for the BMW and additional savings that amount to $2000, making the price $58,750 with a lease payment of $857 per month. Please advise if this is a good deal?

What state is this and what is the tax rate?

Illinois. Tax rate is 6.25% for Illinois State Tax + 0.75% for Lake County= 7.00%

After adding in the state and county tax the monthly payment is $855.24 which is within $2.00 of what they quoted me. Do you think they are offering me a fair deal or is their room negotiate the monthly payment down some more?

I'm not sure how you are calculating the tax .. if I tax the monthly payment I calculated above, the payment only goes to $795/mo.

So, one of two things could be happening:

1. MF is marked up
2. Net cap cost is higher than the selling price

State & County Tax 7%: $58,750 x 7%= $4112.50/36-months= $114.24
Pre-Tax Monthly Payment= $741.10
IL State & Connty Tax= $114.24

Nope, so far as I know, IL taxes the monthly payment only, not the entire purchase price.

They used to, but the law changed on 1/1/15.

Your absolutely correct.... So based on your calculations, I should go back to the dealer and try to get my monthly payment down to $795 per month, using your MF and Residual %.... correct

Yes. Negotiate the lowest selling price you can, then ensure that the dealer doesn't mark up the MF. That will get you the lowest monthly payment.

Also look out for extra fees that are added into the selling price. Some are legit - dealer fee, bank fee - and some aren't.

Sorry for the delay, I was off yesterday. I have an interest factor of .00089 as buy rate on this model. Also there is an additional $878 in acquisition fees from Audi. It includes Gap insurance and fees for them. Lic and title fees, doc fee add another $254. As I said before. We are actually selling the car for $500 under cost with the addition of another $2000 in factory incentives. This car does not get any cheaper.

If you are getting the buy rate on the MF and their rock bottom price, I don't see how you can do any better, other than to use MSD to buy down the MF.
