BMW doesn't offer 7.5K leases.

Hi kyfdx, can you please clarify the july MF on an M3. I live california and was quoted .00165 not .00137 MF. Also I saw folks quoting they got .0013MF. Is there a regional difference? I have tier1 credit. Thanks.

.00137 is the base rate, this month. Dealers can mark it up as much as .00040 for extra profit.

So far as we know, the BMW numbers are national.

Do residuals change throughout the month? I was hoping the dealers would be raising up residuals for the outgoing model year.

If there are any mid-month changes, we wouldn't know about them.

For a car as rare as the M3, I wouldn't expect much change.

Okay, I'm officially confused. It looks like the August residual for the 2016 is lower than the July was, and the July residual for the 2017 is the same as the August residual for the 2016. Can that be right?

Just to clarify, can you please tell me the August MF and residual for the 2016 at 36/10, and for the 2017 at 36/10? Thanks.

Get a 2016 ... the payment will be substantially lower.

2016: .00136 MF and 65% residual. $1500 option allowance
2017: .00136 MF and 61% residual. $1000 option allowance

Add 1% for 10K/yr

2016 numbers are better, because they are trying to move those models out.

OC is a program for states that charge tax on the full selling price on a lease. Since the vehicle is in the purchaser's name, it preserves the trade-in credit for sales tax (both at time of acquisition, then again at disposition).

I don't know enough about it to crunch the numbers, to see how you might be better off, either way.

Are you aware if BMW Financial will give a better rate than thier base rate or money factor? (Especially for returning customers and excellent credit?) I just wanted to know if there is more negotiating room from the number you gave me for September. Also, I wanted to know since October is around the corner if you knew there was going to be any changes in the MF or residual for 2017 M3 Sedan. Thanks again!

Current BMW numbers are valid until 10/31.

Unless you use MSD, the base rate is as good as it gets.

Is it true when you put down 7 MSD on a 2016 M3 the money factor goes down from .00136 to .00127 ? I'm calculating .00087.

Each security deposit reduces the MF .00007. Max 7 is a total of .00049. From the base MF of .00136 this month, the net MF should be .00087.

If the dealer is telling you .00127 then they have marked up the MF by the max allowed before applying the MSD.

Sure, that's what they'll tell you.

Might be time to work with a different dealer - it only takes one to meet your terms.

Or, be polite and tell them you won't sign a deal with a marked up MF.

For BMW, anything above 7% off sticker, before incentives, is a good price.

$4k is just over 5%. Ok, but with inventory dwindling, it may be the best you can do.

Thank You. BMW credit tier 1 is 700+ ? I just checked my Experian Fico Score 8 and Fico Auto Score 8. 764 and 787. Fico Score 9's in the 800+. Do you think BMW Financial will do it even with a bk discharge in 2009 ?

Anything 675 or higher is top tier. 7 years? I shouldn't think it would be a problem.
