2017 Audi Q7 Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Purchased a new Q7, got some quotes or want to find out what others are paying, please post!

Please include the trim you are shopping, options, and in what part of the US you are shopping for your Audi.

I am looking to purchase a Q7 Prestige in the DMV area. Has anyone bought an Audi Q7 going with the Costco program? What was the cost above invoice price? Also, does the Owner Loyalty bonus apply to Q7?

DMV - ah, DC, MD and VA. Had to look that one up.

TMV is a bit below MSRP but way above invoice. The TMV average is coming in at $64,320. My guess is that the buying services will be close to $63,000 but guess you'll have to test that theory yourself unless another buyer weighs in here.

In addition to Costco, you may want to get a Price Promise quote from us. And get some other "normal" quotes for a baseline.

There is $3,000 loyalty cash that should work for the Q7. That should bring you down to $60, assuming my guess is close.

Anyone else buying?

@ Stever - you got the DMV right. I am going in on Sat. Best quote so far I have gotten is 1k above the invoice price. I plan to negotiate little more as the vehicle has extra features that I really don't want aka privacy trunk cover, usb cables and such. I will ask for the loyalty but it seems like its only for customers that were affected by airbag recall.

I am not sure why Audi is not offering audi loyalty bonus and Conquest bonus on Q7. Really a shame!

Audi is having no problems selling every Q7 they bring to the US - no need to add incentives where none are necessary.

Oh yeah, I see that Takata info in the fine print on the incentive. Kind of a bummer.

And the USB cables - didn't I see that those cost like $120 or some crazy number?

Michael - I don't disagree with you but there are many Q7s on dealers lots with random options in Premium+ and Prestige. Some of these Premium+ are more expensive than Prestige when you get more in a Prestige.

I don't know if it's worth the wait till next Month to buy given it's the end of the year. But I am going on Saturday with the assumption to buy unless Dealer pisses me off lol

I suspect that the P+'s are better equipped as they have better residual numbers than the Prestige, for those who lease.

Hey guys. Sorry I have been very busy so didn't get a chance to respond back. But unfortunately I didn't get the car that weekend. The inlay was Layered Walnut which didn't go well with Nougat Brown and it looked hideous. The sales guy was very pushy so we walked. Now I am waiting on another that is coming in December but contemplating whether I want to buy a Q7 or not.

There was a lawsuit that was filed on Nov 9th against Audi which might have some impact on their vehicles. Have you guys heard anything regarding it? Any projections on to what's going to happen? Most Audi dealerships and their employees are clueless about the lawsuit.

That new "scandal" hit the news about ten days ago but it's still a bit early to see how it's going to shake out. Nice to see the lawyers are on top of it.

Any news on the Q5/Q7 sales in the wake of the emissions lawsuit ? I plan to lease or buy a Q5 if the price is right, not sure which one yet. Contenders are the BMW X5 and Merc GLE/K.

The emissions problems are only with the diesel models. Haven't seemed to affect Audi SUV sales, otherwise.

It's a scandal a week with VW - Audi is being investigated for cheating on gas models too. Haven't heard any news for a couple of weeks about it though. The Q5 is one of the ones being looked at.

My guess is that they'll do a transmission reflash to fix it if they can.

Hey all. Hope all is doing well. Just providing an update but I ended up pulling a trigger on the 2017 Q7 Prestige. Got the vehicle on the invoice price and negotiated the Audi care at $500. Hope this will help someone in getting a deal with their Audi dealer.

I didn't see the dealership you were able to negotiate your Q7 with. Can you provide (or, anyone else that may have received a great deal) the info?

Also, i am looking to do a factory order (I want what I want - including the B&O upgrade). Can anyone tell me if it's a better negotiating tool if I end up doing a factory order? I would think it is - all they need to do is fill in some paperwork.

Any help/guidance in this crazy mess is helpful. I am in the Sacramento area BTW.

There is a difference of opinion on discounts of factory orders - some feel that you should be able to get the same level of discount as you would on a unit in stock. Others disagree.

We suggest you shoot for 6% off sticker, and see where that gets you.

Wow, thanks for the quick response Michaell - much appreciated. I would be more than happy with 6%. Even 5%. All they are offering me is $1,500 off MSRP (but this is over the phone). i suppose I need to force the issue in person. I'll give this a try.
