Mixed performance Sports wheels

I am looking to lease 2016 328i sedan. It has option of Wheels 18X8.0 Front and 18X8.5 Rear mixed performance tires.
Tire sizes are P225/45R18 front and P255/40Rear.
I have heard that some sports tires wear out soon and need to be replace before the lease term.
Do these BMW tires need to be replaced soon.
Any info re these tires, warranty is highly appreciated

    Those are summer tires. Yes, they will wear faster. Inappropriate for any area that has temperatures below 40F in the winter. Where do you live?

    You'd be okay in Florida, but might get dicey, if you wanted to venture North, in the colder months.

    Summer tires will wear fast. My current set have 20K miles, and are just about due for replacement.
    Also, you can't rotate staggered tires, so that won't help.

    But, if you like to drive fast around the corners, nothing is better. ;)

    Anywhere that the temperature gets near freezing, summer tires can be downright dangerous.
