The Acura RDX with Advance package was quoted at 43700 out the door in MI. Is this a good price? Any other buyers from MI who has got a better pricing for Advance? Kindly share info.
Your selling price is around $41,000 for your (AWD) RDX, backing out the taxes.
TMV for a Detroit zip is $42,678, about $200 over invoice. So your quote is about $1,400 below invoice and ~8% below the $44,660 MSRP.
Looks good from here.
Any other Michigan tire-kickers lurking? Even Yoopers? (ex-Yooper here, at least for 4 years).
Thanks Stever and I appreciate on your response. I went ahead and bought this vehicle. This puts an end to my extensive search finally. Hope to enjoy the Acura rides. Regards, Sri
Looks like Acura is not having a great deal here in AZ. I am getting 15% below MSRP and good APR on Audi Q5 2.0 Tech and MB GLC300 P3. With the rebates they are $2000 more than Acura and I will be saving on the lower APR as well with them. They are also adding maintenance package.
Looking to buy 2017 RDX with AcuraWatch. True market value shows $35,874.00 + tax in Seattle. However, When I call dealers none of the dealers are ready to beat that price. Lowest I have found so far is around $37,000. What is the strategy I should apply to get the car in TMV?
Also, I have 800+ FICO score; What is the Acura financials APR for 60 months? My local credit union is giving 2.25%.
Been looking around for base RDX with AWD. Got quoted $36k + free remote start in NJ. Plus $455 doc fees + tax (6.875$% in NJ). Debating whether to lease or buy. If lease, I'd do 3yr 15k/yr. Anyone know what the lease money factor is right now or the residual value %?

Got a quote for 2017 RDX 2WD with Advance at $40,400 + tax (3%), tags (~$100), doc fee (~$600). Located in NC, 27703. Is this a good deal? I have seen examples of people hitting $37.9k in this forum, but in other states.
Also, if I lease, whats the MF and residual in NC (36/39 month --- 10k/12k miles)? Thanks so much for the answer!

Thanks for the quick response. Is the price good or can I do better? MSRP is 43160, inclusive of destination charge.
I just leased a 2017 Acura RDX AWD Advance 36 mo/12k in NY with Total Cap Cost of $40,300 (I think I could have done better too). My lease payment is $499/mo. They also gave me $1500 for a 2004 piece of junk that had $160K miles on it. The Edmunds app says I should really be paying $475/month.
I would email 5 or 6 dealers in your area with EXACTLY what you want. Tell them to give you their best price and that you'll be in on X to pick it up if it's the right deal. Got much better offers by email than I did by going into a dealer.
So I pulled the trigger and bought the 2017 AWD RDX base. $34,000 minus $750 loyalty incentive put it at $33,250, plus tax, tags and doc fee. Out the door came to about $35,560.

Hi kyfdx, I missed pulling the trigger on the acura last month, due to some last minute travel plans.
Is the MF and residual in NC still the same for February (36/39 month --- 10k/12k miles)? Also, what about the dealer cash?
im from the philadelphia area and looking to purchase a 2017 rdx awd basic model, what price OTD should i aim to purchase it for? ME and my uncle will be getting the same car, we plan to pit down 10k$ each down and finance the rest. Just want a good ball park price to aim for.
New to the forums guys. Need to get a RDX and have been looking greater Chicago. Got dealer down to 300 all in for FWD or 320 all in for AWD. 0 down and everything rolled into the payment for RDX Base. 10K/36 month. I know it's good but I've seen better in the past. Should I wait because we're not in a rush and 2018 around the corner? Also what should I ask to have them throw in?
A dealers internet price in my area (atlanta, Ga) is 39,777 for the acura watch and technology package. Is this a good deal? Does anyone think I could negotiate more off of this? Thanks!
Looking for 17 or 18 RDX w AWD in Westchester, NY. Hoping for deal on 17 as the 18s are starting to land. #s posted here vary quite a bit. What range should I be targeting for final selling price.
And are there any major changes to the 18s? 18s look to ahave avoided new grill on MDX and TLX.
This forum has been very helpful for me and thanks to everyone for sharing their info. I just purchased a new 2017 RDX AWD with Advance package from a dealer in the Portland Oregon area. Price breakdown as follows:
Total OTD: $40,001 (there's no sales tax in Oregon
Details:
The Northwest package includes floor mats, cargo mat, splash guards and wheel locks. It is an additional cost to the price of the RDX and 'non-negotiable' add-on by the dealer, I was going to get mats anyway, so not a big deal.
The biggest thing is Acura is offering a $3500 - $4000 manufacturer incentive to dealers to move RDXs which expires July 5. I don't know if it is a Portland thing or national and no idea if it will be renewed after July 5. I believe it is $3500 for the base, $3750 for Tech, and $4000 for Advanced. To do the calculation:
Invoice + Destination (i.e Advanced = $41,593 + $975 = $42,568 - don't quote me on this, I'm just getting this from the internet).
Add in any options (i.e Northwest Package = $600) $38568 + $600 = $39,168
Add in the doc/title/DMV fees and a regional advertising fee: $423 (i don't have the breakdown of fees handy and this is specific for Portland. Other region fees will vary) (39168+423 = 39591).
Dealer makes 40001-39591 = $410.
I don't know how holdbacks or any other incentives play into this and perhaps the dealer makes more, but for me the numbers looked good.
Dealers are motivated to get the 2017 RDX off the lot as the 2018 are on their way. The incentives end July 5, and the dealers told me no more 2017 are being delivered so what is on the lot is what is available. Coupled that with the 0.9%/36 month or 1.9%/60 month financing this makes it a sweeter deal.
Good luck to anyone looking to buy this weekend. Happy July 4th to everyone!
Can someone help me with this offer? Is it a good deal? @Michaell Really appreciate if you can share your perspective. Getting approximately 20% disc. on MSRP.
I have not purchased, but am looking to. Based on what I've seen that seems like a good deal. I'm looking for Tech package, no preference for AWD or not. Are you in Virginia? Curious what area if so. I'm in NoVa. Looking to buy this weekend possible. Thx and good luck!
I have decided to buy a 2017 AWD RDX with Advance package. I live in Reno. The sticker price is $44,660 and they told me I could get $2K off that. They have 8 identical cars on the lot. I am hoping to do better than that. They have already started to get in 2018 models. #fingerscrossed
Got an offer for base - $28,990 or tech - $32,590. Thoughts? Seems pretty good to me. Includes tax, license, and destination ($975) and processing ($699).

That is an amazing deal! My dealership quoted me 34,500$ for the base model and thats before taxes which in my opinion isn't that good.
Yep it's Pohanka. I'm at the dealer now ;-) I would email them and get a price. They immediately come back with a very good offer, 20% off MSRP. I then took that and emailed Chevy Chase Acura. They came back with a great offer too. I went back to Pohanka via email one more time and quoted CC Acura. They said they'd beat it, no specific quote tho. I said I'd come in at noon today. I did, they beat it by $200. Not much, but I didn't expect much since we're so far below MSRP. Also, I live ten mins from Pohanka so it's more convenient. Good luck! Let me know if you have any more questions.
@boomerva I have the same price from three different dealers now. They are all willing to do the same price I had mentioned. Infact, Pohanka Acura is $400 off in my case as they claim it to be a deal that was valid for only the day I visited them. I dont need the car immediately so waiting for them to offer me the best price. Will consider another dealer depending on how things go this week. Good luck with your search too!
Pohanka said there's a manufacturer incentive to move the 2017 RDXs now. The finance guy said he thinks they'll all be gone in 45 days (this was all after I had signed, so I don't think they're lying). Regardless, seems like a great time to be in the market for a 2017 RDX right now. Mines sitting in the garage :-)
im from philly and the best deal i got for a new 2017 rdx awd base model was a sale price of $32,443 plus 8% sales tax and doc fees of 295$ puts me at $35,333 OTD. Is this a good deal? I see people on this forum who got the tech package for around 35k OTD. Need feedback please!!!
If you don't mind a couple hour drive, scope out the dealers in NoVA. I walked away with Tech AWD out the door for $36,000. I also had offers for base FWD for $32,055 OTD and Tech FWD $35,706 (this could have been pushed down, but I opted to get the AWD for $36k without inquiring about how low they'd go on the FWD). There's huge manufacturer incentives to move the 2017s right now. One last thought on the OTD prices I got, VA tax on new cars is about 1/2 of what you're paying in Philly. Try Pohanka, that's who I bought from, but also had great offers from Chevy Chase Acura in MD.
NoVA is too far of a drive from Philly for me and doesn't work with my current schedule at the moment to drive down there. I'll probably head to dealership tomorrow and try to talk down the sale price and go from there .
I don't know if you're going to get the best deal by showing up (although I'm no expert, I could be wrong). I'd ask for what you want via email. Ask 3-4 dealerships. When one comes back, tell them what the other offered. You'll work your way down. The one who really wants to make the sale will give you the best price. Tell them, for the right price you'll be in there today/tomorrow (whenever you can). If they know you're serious they wont BS you. At least that's what happened to me down here. Good luck.
Just bought a 2017 RDX base AWD for $35000 OTD. Sale price $32,143 plus 8% sales tax and $293 doc fees. I think i got a good deal, contacted all acura in nearby philly dealerships and ended up buying it at this one local dealership because it had the best quote that they gave me and plus the exterior color is modern steel metallic which is the color preference i wanted.
