Yeah, you have to cut the striker if the latch has seized and won't release. I've seen a lot of people waste cans of penetrating oil in the often futile hope that it will magically release seized fasteners r other components. This is far from the only vehicle that makes opening a seized door or hatch latch difficult. Needing to cut the striker is easy compared to some of the problems we often have to overcome.
If your handle is broken - don't replace it with original. Get one made of metal.
But wait, why the handle got broken? Because the latch got lots of dust and it became harder to unlock (pull wire). So if you replace the handle - replace the latch. Save your time.
I didn't find the way to repair latch
Anyway. Right now my problem is that master switch (on driver side) can operate the driver window but not others. Other sides can operate their windows just fine. I also cannot lock-unlock does from master switch my RC works just fine.
Second, when I unlock-lock the doors, all the doors obide but not rear door. I cannot hear click as I used to. I also able to lock the doors when my tail is open.
Third, u cannot up or down the rear window from the driver seat.
Anyone had the issues I have?
