    I agree with the math. If you're comfortable with the selling price, and there aren't any junk fees added into the $4K to get to the net cap cost, then all looks good.

    How much is the dealer asking for at signing?

    Any reason in particular why you are looking for 39 months vs 24 or 36? The money factor and residual for 24 months is excellent right now compared to the 36 and 39 month offers. I wish I could find a 2LT around me for a selling price like that. I was quoted 33990 on a 1LT with an MSRP of 36990. Plus it was a LOANER lol. Rest of the numbers didnt seem to add up either:

    MSRP: 36990
    Selling Price 33990
    Rebates: 6250
    Residual: 62%
    Money Factor 0.00040
    24 Months, 15K
    1000 cash down
    595 Acquisition Fee
    434.40 DMV Fee
    962.90 Taxes
    399 Doc Fee

    Comes to 355.07 according to them, but I cannot replicate that with the Edmunds calculator using their terms.I got $222.00 monthly using the 1000 cash down, and $266.00 monthly without it. Am I missing something here?

    Freight is part of the MSRP - you shouldn't have to pay that separately.

    I'd suggest you add the tax, processing fee and acquisition fee into the cap cost - you'll end up with a higher payment, but you won't risk losing that up front cash if the car is stolen or totaled.

    Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and make sure you understand how they got to that number from the selling price.
