    I got an Acadia back in late February to replace one car, looking to replace #2 now l. I was gonna wait it out, but the 1500 bonus GM gave me has me considering my options. Thanks again for the info!

    Went to a Chevy dealer in Maryland today to get a 24/12 lease quote on a 2018 Malibu 1.5 LT Redline. MSRP $32,000. I’ll never go back.

    Why would they even bother sending that lease quote?

    Why not just say, "We could sell you the car for a lower payment than we can lease it for"

    I'll try and get that information. Do you know if the residual is better on 39 months vs 36 months. Originally I wanted 24 months but the dealer is trying to push me into a 39 month lease.     The residual for 39 months is a little bit lower, but you have more payments to cover the depreciation. Sometimes it results in a better payment, sometimes not.

    And, you raise a good point about the warranty. Plus, you'll have to pay for another year of registration.

From $24195 to $18500, it includes chevy labor day sale event $1750, customer cash $2250, trade assistance $750, down payment $750. So what probably the price I can get when leasing?

    It's likely that some of what you listed is replaced by the two incentives I listed above.
    But, GM incentives are pretty convoluted. You'd have to check with the dealer.
    Not sure how "$750 down payment" qualifies as a discount, though?
