    Thanks again. Can you please explain what "base" MF means? Do they sometimes go down as well as up, and if so how would I accomplish that and to what level might they go?

    It is the best MF for top tier credit. Won't get any lower than that.

    Dealer is using 58% for 36/10 - is it the same for 36/10 and 36/12 or should they be using higher for 36/10?

    Should be 59% for 36/10

    Dealer cannot alter the residual; it is set by the bank.

    No, the dealer is wrong.
    59% is correct for 36/10
    The dealer is not free to alter the residual
