    That's correct.

    Many dealers will give you a purchase or retail price. Then, quote a lease payment where the numbers are different. (because they have to be, like tax, or because the dealer is hiding something)

    Got my deal, 10k/36m Touring 2019, MSRP+destination $35270 for $395 including tax (7.75), MF ended up being .00085, residual was at 60%, dealer decided to markup MF. What was the actual rate for MF for this?

    There is a 24 month term offered, but the numbers are, frankly, awful.

    36/12 is the sweet spot for Subaru:
    LTD - .00045 and 60%
    TOUR - .00035 and 59%

    woof!!! The MF rates on the Sport are still bad. I feel like those are the same high rates since October/November. All of the other models seem a bit more attractive.

    Looking at the rates, I think it might be possible for a Touring to end up being cheaper to lease than a Forester Sport.

    36/15K:
    .00135 MF and 59% residual (Forester Sport) (~ 3.24% interest)
    .00035 MF and 57% residual (Forester Touring) (~0.84% interest)

    I like the Sport a lot, but the Touring does have that really nice brown leather (and that privacy invading facial recognition).

    The residual difference will just about cancel out the increased money factor, so it will likely come down to whichever is lower priced, assuming the percentage discount is the same.
