The sales tax is wrong - that is for a full purchase.

Ask the dealer to have them share their lease worksheet.

What does the out of pocket consist of?

    39/15
    Assuming Quattro - .00005 and 45%
    $3000 incentives

The dealer gave me 2 different kinds of printouts based on whether 12k or 15k miles
    #1
    The printout for 39/15k is
    Retail Price $50,090.00
    Savings $2,857
    Selling Price $47,233
    Rebate as cap reduction $3,000
    Sub-Total $44,233
    Fees $166.93
    Sales Tax $4,145.39
    Net Sales Price $48,545.32

and says Rebate $3000 and out of pocket cash $3093.65 = $599.47 payment

    #2
The printout for 39/12k is detailed with
    Term 39
    Base Payment $579.27
    Purchase option 23,542.30
    MSRP 50,090
    miles 12,000
    disposition fee 495
    excess mileage .25
    Amount due at signing:
$579.27 for 1st month payment, $166.93 for fees and ins, $2,258.32 for upfront taxes = $3,004.52 cash on delivery plus $3,000 for rebate as cap reduction = $6,004 "down payment"

The 39/15 information is simply wrong - in NY, you pay tax on the sum of the payments, the incentives and any non-government fees (dealer fee, acquisition fee)

On the 39/12 quote, the adjusted cap cost is missing - that is the negotiated selling price plus any taxes or fees you are not paying up front (acquisition fee of $895, for instance).

Without a full quote, there isn't much feedback I can give you. Keep asking the dealer for the full quote and worksheet. If they continue to resist, that might tell you something about the dealer.

There were a lot of numbers wrong which I pointed out. This is the final quote:
    Term 39
    Base Payment $575.33
    Total Payment $575.33
    Purchase Option $22,540.50
    MSRP $50,090.00
    Miles 15000
    Disposition Fee $495
    Excess mileage .25

    8.75% Tax

    Amount Due
    1st Month $575.33
    Fees and Insurance $246.93
    Upfront Taxes $2,253.45
Cap Reduction cash $98.00=Total Inception Fees of $3,173.71
Rebate as Cap Reduction = $3000.00
    Total due at signing $6,173.71

I will ask for "adjusted cap cost" though
print out states "selling price" says $46,633 - 3000 rebate with "sub total" at $43,633 (i think that is the adjusted cap cost)

I made it clear that i'm not buying a "payment"... If you see $48000 adj cap cost gets me to $575 then they are lying...
