Took it! I know the Golf doesn't lease as well as other cars, but have been wanting to get back into a small euro hatch for my daily commute (had a 2008 R32 lease once upon a time, fun car but the DSG on my particular car was riddled with issues).

With 2019 being the last year for a regular Golf and inventory drying up in my state (there was only 2 vehicles with the driver's assistance package and a non-black exterior), figured if they could offer buy rate and a selling price under TrueCar's regional "Great Price" I'd be content with the deal.

A shame they don't make the SEL model anymore. Looking back, should've bought that model but gotten a 2016 when the included the push button start and the lightning cable for the iPhone connection plus the usb/aux connection.

Any incentive on buying a new 2019 Golf SE? Just curious basically. Shame they got rid of the SEL model as should've bought that way back in 2014 as it had the push button start that I'm missing now and the nicer seat cushion on the bottom of the seat. Might'e even had the usb/aux connector that I didn't get in mine!!

Any word on when the new 2020 Golf is due out? Saw a pic in Car & Driver and like it, it's a natural progression and still looks very much like a VW Golf. The interior looks so much better with the e-brake now a small button thingy, I hate my pull up unit. Definitely on my short list depending of course how it drives and how good the audio system will be. Like my Fender system I've got now as it has like 9 speakers and a sub so I can play it loud enough without any distortion. Have never gone over 1/2 volume as there's really no need, sounds great at that point.
