Now I have to deal with a winter's worth of stone chips and scratches in the leading edge of the hood - ugh...I'll follow up on that over in Maintenance and Repair.
Thanks,
Ed
Mark
I also had to resubscribe to all the Subaru Crew topics.
That's at least 2 things to talk about during tonights chat...
-Brian

I think Patti said that they're rolling out the notices in stages, rather than ALL at once.

Can't make the chat tonight, but they've been quite active since the WRX launch, so try to make it folks.
Sorry I've been inactive - we're replacing 152 computers in a "bulldoze" project here at work. In four days!

Hope this helps,
Ed
Glad to be of assistance!

Patti- Careful about agreeing to give out WRX posters. If the word gets out you'll be inundated with requests. But if you do decide to, I'm 3rd in line after Juice and Serge :-)

*groan* Now I'm off to fix them all. Edmunds, please, can we keep this kind of occurance to a minimum? This is a pain in the you-know-what.

I should be waxing Sandy right now!
Congrats Greg! Winestone, too, just like my dad's.
Yes, expect the onset of OCD, and adopt puppies (kittens are OK too). Then buy a Mac and go hiking and camping. You will gain an appetite for Rally Bread and start speaking with an Aussie accent, to boot.
Congrats again, Dave. I mean Greg.

I used to work that schedule, liked it a lot. Now I work 8x5 and also whenever else is needed, but get 100% comp time. It's kinda nice, considering as a salaried employee they aren't actually obligated to give me any comp time at all.
Leaves me plenty of time for my personal life and my Scooby.

Davetta (aka Patti - I'm trying to fit in!)
Yes Colin, 1 extra day, so I work 9 days every two weeks. It's the only way I can get car-related stuff done, since the wife wants help with the kid on Sat/Sun.
But my boss says I'm not working much at all...

I might be able to direct someone to a source if you want one, but check with your dealers first.
Sorry!

Welcome to the real world. I started my own business 14 yrs ago so I could take off whenever I want. Yeah right! Now I put in 10-12 hr days 6&7 days a week. Is your company hiring?
I was at a light yesterday, when a Honda Qualude SH (riced out to the max) pulled up on my left. When the light turned green he took off .. I stomped the Rex and blew past him like he was sitting still. I love this car !!!!!!!!

(This is the only place I come across a Dave! Must be a Sube thing.)
Did you read your manual?... had to ask
bit
-Greg
Easy during the break in. Keep it at no more than 4k rpm, and drive smoothly, but vary speeds (no cruise for now).
It takes what seems like forever but it's worth it in the long run.

Guess I'll go out and drive for awhile. Need to find something to smile about. I think I'll look for a nice muddy field.

I auto-xed today. Beat the 2 guys with WRXs which was a nice feeling, although they are novices so I fully expect them to whoop my butt in a few weeks. I definitely feel I'm getting better, brake early and gas through the turns is my new motto!
