Once I settle on a specific car, then I'll contact dealers in my area for offers and test drives. I just don't want to test drive or set my sights on any vehicle I can't afford.


    You need to do some test driving and find out what you like. A good deal isn't that good if you don't like the car you end up with.

    You're shopping for a car, not a deal.
