I am sorry, but I do not buy cars often, so please forgive my ignorance! I am trying to help my aging parents lease a car. They are being taken advantage of, starting with an MSRP at $4,000 more than what is written on the dealer’s own website!

The $1500 loyalty is available for purchase or lease, but is not an incentive we reference unless specifically asked.
The incentives we cite are factory to customer incentives, specific to leasing.
Are you sure your parents should lease? Perhaps they should find a nice CPO vehicle and buy it.

I suppose it depends on their age, but leasing when you probably only drive a few thousand miles a year does seem expensive.
My folks bought their last new car in 2003, when they were in their late 60's. The car now has just over 40,000 miles on it 18 years later.
Michaell, Thanks for writing! I think my parents (early 80’s) are thinking they should have what they want at their ages! They love the convenience of complimentary service on a leased car and no fear of the car breaking down (theoretically) because it is new (or less than 3 years old.) They drive about 10k miles annually.

Sounds like $4840 is the "down payment", then plus 1st payment and probably acquisition fee?
Without a copy/paste of all the print, it's hard for us to know.
Or, it's possible they've mixed up their fine print with a different program.
