Today’s link from my son was a 2007 Cayman S. 6 speed. Gorgeous dark blue over beige. Probably going to eat you alive based on description. Definitely enthusiast owned, with short shift, exhaust, tunes and coil overs (from what I recall). Oh, and recently replaced engine with a used one. A couple warning lights on, they “think” related to some LED light upgrade (something like that). Basically everything you don’t want in a used Porsche. Especially if you have zero DIY capacity for it, and aren’t independently wealthy.
Admire from a far! Do not touch or it will bite.

Our mega sites are run by a hospital too. You use their my chart website feature to register and schedule. Really efficient, and cuts the government out of the process (probably why it worked so well). Anyone trying to go through the state interface finds it to be a mess. Direct to the site was easy.
My mom had no problem scheduling.... it would have been quite ironic if she did considering she worked for them for over 40 years.

I would never buy it. He’s smart enough to heed the advice too. He just likes looking. If he really decides to go the toy route, we will get serious about picking something. I keep suggesting a Miata. Maybe a Golf R. There are options.

I was able to sign up to get my first round next Saturday (13th). I think that one is Moderna (I haven't researched the difference between them); the sign up said, "You must have time available on April 10th for the second injection. By confirming this appointment, you certify that you will schedule a second appointment for April 10." Or something like that. There was no ambiguity involved!
Also, everyone I know who has gone through the second immunization says that you need to clear your schedule for 24-48 hours after injection, as that one tends to invoke a solid immune response that can make you feel rather miserable for a short time.

2014 models tend to be $40K-$50K
2009-2010 can be reasonable ($30K-$40K), but like hen's teeth.
I’d be fine with one that had the IMS done already with one of the good kits. And really don’t need a S. Base is more than good enough for me, and of course, way cheaper.
@qbrozen - how on earth did they get it in and out of that enclosed trailer? Doesn't look like there was much room on either side to open the door or slide in, even if the window were open, and the side door on the trailer doesn't look like it lines up.
Great to see, QB. Is that Shadow Gray or Satin Steel? I really like Satin Steel, which is lighter than Shadow, but they both look good with silver/polished wheels. Turn the flash on you camera on and get some pics of the coal mine interior too! I bet you will love the car.

Has anyone heard why the prices of petrol have risen so sharply this past month or so? I paid $2.49 last week with my discount at Cumberland Farms and today, I'd be paying $2.59. Haven't found anything in the internet news as to why the sudden spike in prices. EV vehicles really seem to be the wave of the future as long as the the states can locate an adequate amount of charging facilities to meet the probable demand that is anticipated. I'm finally at the point where I'd definitely get one if all the variables fall into place. Tired of being at the mercy of petrol prices changing as often as they do. But then, we'll have to deal with the power companies...a never ending cycle it seems! But, we're addicted to our different modes of transportation and that's one thing that ain't going away. It was hard staying home at the start of the pandemic, and now, folks just want to get out and go! But, we have to be smart here and not go back as quickly as some would like...need to do it in moderation folks, moderation is the key here. And please, do not read anything political into what I'm saying here. Too many innocent folks have passed and we owe it to them to not return to what life used to be too soon.
Demonizing oil companies and shutting down pipeline construction might have something to do with it. Prices here in NY are up 30% and seems to be increasing a few cents a week. Unfortunately all products, electricity and food will follow. Our economy is and will continue to be fueled primarily by oil and a changeover to wind and solar will be slow and costly.

Took the XF to local Jag dealer, passed MA inspection. Warning lights not an issue. And, received a nice bath. While waiting, test drove a '21 XF. Mild exterior massage, more aggressive front end, which I like. I've read they massaged the C pillar area, I don't see much difference, even next to an '18 on the lot.
The interior is where there's a sea change, very modern and sleek. A large "floating" infotainment takes up much real estate. It looks good, seemed responsive. I'd still prefer an integrated screen, but at this size, perhaps just not doable. IP is smaller, and digital (I drove the top of the line P300 R-dynamic), clean and simple. Seats offered more thigh support. Materials seemed improved, more leather, or perhaps "JagTex!" on the dash. Also, aluminum, with wood finishers an option. Didn't figure out all the tech, I really just wanted to drive it. I'm not sure if I loved the new interior, perhaps a bit to sterile? I really like wood, that may change it a bit more to my liking.
The drive, while familiar, was nice. The handling is still sharp, the steering responsive. I did detect more road and wind noise. Bumps seemed a bit more pronounced. This time, digitally, I checked the tire pressure, all four were overinflated 4-5 lbs. So, perhaps that related to the noise/ride.
And, adios supercharged V6, we hardly knew ye. Now a (surprise) turbo 4 or go home. A bit less power than my '13, but the '21 is probably at least 200 lbs lighter, from what I've read of the specs. It was a bit surprisingly peppy, on my highway portion of the test, I was cruising along at 90, and had no idea I'd gotten there that quickly! Once big change is the stop/start. It's less obtrusive than mine, which I've never minded. But, unlike mine, when you take your foot off the brake, the engine didn't engage. Not until I hit the go pedal did the hamster begin spinning it's wheel. I wonder if that's a setting I could change? If not, I may join the disable it club.
So, because I seem to be pre-disposed to liking Jags, I'm considering it. They are trickling in, in fact the dealers in my area all have the exact same build: P300 R-dynamic in white/black or black/red. All of them. My dealer does have some different colors inbound, but not for 6+ weeks; likely I'd order exactly what I want. After another test drive.
And, big price reduction. Built as I want, ~$55k. Currently a $1k Jag offer. Still considering an A7, the interior of that is really to my liking. And, HB utility...
I don't think the '16 XF redesign was a big enough improvement over my model. Perhaps I'm prejudiced by the love of my car (ok, I am); hence my lack of big enthusiasm for other cars.
So, my pathetic saga continues. All apologies.

The deal with Walgreens was that they only book three days in advance, so you have to catch the website when new appointments become available.

Absolutely $55k is a bargain in that class. S90 is nice to and they used to lease phenomenally if you wanted to do that as a stop gap and get an EV at the end of that lease.

Was wondering about the outcome of that.
Supposedly it was an issue in the zip code database where the system thought certain OH zip codes were in KY and thus eligible to get vaccinated in KY. The rule has generally been that if you get a confirmed appointment, you will not be turned away. I think 1,000 or so Ohioans got vaccinated in Northern KY. I think they have asked the feds to allocate KY 1,000 doses out of OH's allotment, but I doubt anything will come of that.

Basically, not allowed
But, the goal is to stick as many as possible, and it looks like the supply is going to really ramp up, this month. Also, as you know, it's one big metro area, here. And, the vaccine is paid for. In another couple of weeks, as long as you have an appointment, it's likely no one will care.
Yeah, as soon as they finally get the supply chain stuffed full, all the craziness goes away and everyone can just make an appointment and go. Hopefully pretty soon.
