Thank you for the quick reply. Sorry should have been more precise. I'm looking for a 36/10 instead of 36/15. I'm a super low mileage driver (under 5k per year) so if a 36/7.5k option is available would like to know those numbers as well. Thank you so much!

It's a very special situation. I'm going through GM repurchase team on an lease MSRP swap using Texas lemon law. GM has made a limited number of 2022 Bolt EUVs available for this purpose with new battery chemistry that is not subject to stop sale. The vehicle I'm getting is 2022 EUV with sun and roof package manufactured in November/December 2021. Effectively GM is reimbursing me for most of my cost September 2020 lease on a 2020 Bolt Premiere since I'm a really low mileage driver and giving me MSRP credit for a 2022 Bolt EUV that was selected for the transactions. GM finance is repaid through the repurchase of the vehicle and I'm getting MSRP trade-in credit for sales tax purposes. I'm expecting the offer tomorrow. She did mention that "financing" was up to me and dealer on the transaction. My dealer is awesome and will likely give me the best deal but I wanted to be familiar with the numbers going into the transaction.

Thank you for this helpful post. Can you elaborate what MSRP credit means ? I too am a leaseholder from Sep 2020 on a Chevy Bolt with 11,500 miles. We are in CA. I am just starting the process this week to see if I can swap the car .. I was hoping for 2022 Bolt but reading forums it seems like it can only swap for 2022 Bolt EUV ? Thanks for any information.

I am a September 2020 Bolt Premiere leaseholder about 50% through my lease. My original 2020 lease was $6750 one pay including lease, tax, title, license costs. It was a great deal at the time. After our Texas $2500 EV credit straight to me my total cost of the lease was about $4250 for 36 months. My "MSRP credit swap" offer was to do a lease for 2022 Bolt EUV that was manufactured in November. GM offer letter was a $6750 credit towards a new lease with $0 usage charge. My vehicle is at 8,000 miles. The lease terms and residuals were exactly as described here. However after the dealer put the numbers together I rejected GMs offer. New lease was going to be about $14.5k with one pay and about $15.8k with normal lease terms. Even after $6750 credit I would be paying way more than my original 2020 lease and effectively losing rest of the money I paid on my current lease in order to enter a new 36/10 lease. The problem is that Chevy Bolt does not have the normal incentives in the system. I'm a GM supplier and existing leaseholder but even with those credits the lease is super expensive. I have rejected the lease swap and have opted for a "straight lease repurchase" option. I just got those numbers and my straight repurchase offer is $5300. I'm being charged about $1400 usage charge based on 8,000 miles but I can take the cash, run and buy whatever I want. I'm choosing this because the difference of $1400 is not much and honestly I don't like the change in terms on GM leases that happened last summer. Instead of doing a lease I'm buying a different electric vehicle to be delivered in March (Polestar 2). Good luck with your case.
