  The money factor is provided by Genesis Finance. The dealer can mark it up for extra profit. By knowing the base value, you can decide if the price of the vehicle is reasonable, knowing all factors involved.

  Thank you! And in a lease that money factor is applied to the entire value of the car before tax or on the monthly payments before/after tax?
