Currently have 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee L 4x4. Lease is up in December 2023. On target with mileage, in great condition.
Dealership calling me up looking for early turn in.
Offering 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L 4x4 39/12k for $460/month. Wants $2k down + 1st month payment.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
The deal on the new one seems very reasonable. If it's what you really want, see if you can bargain the upfront down a little lower. I wouldn't do it, unless you're positive you want to keep driving the same vehicle for three more years. But, I don't see any red flags.
I'm assuming they see some equity in your current vehicle, to apply towards the new deal. Make sure they are purchasing the vehicle from the leasing bank, and not just turning it back in, for you.
