    What do you guys think of the following; 2023 subaru crosstrek premium 2.0L 4-cylinder.
    36-months, 10k miles, free maintenance.
    due at signing $5,487, pays for all the fees. 3,085 of the 5.4k is a down payment.
    Monthly rate $287, and again, free maintenance for 36 months.
    Thoughts?

    Amortizing the down payment, that's close to $400/mo. Without the other information, I can't render any opinions.

    Assuming all taxes and fees are paid up front, I calculate a payment of $375/mo.

    For every $1000 down, subtract roughly $30/mo from the payment. Therefore, the $3K the dealer wants makes the payment about right ($283/mo).

    I don't see much wrong with the deal.

    Have you shopped around with multiple dealers? Is this the best offer you've been given?

    Full price isn't helping. Plus, you pay full sales tax on a lease in Texas. That would make me want to buy, rather than lease

    not sure if it's the dealer's zip code or mine (where i'm insured?) that matters but
