Why is the MF so low? The base MF is .00185; max MSDs would only bring that down to .00157.

Seems like a massive payment given how much up front cash they are asking for.

That’s the MF my dealer told me. I was surprised too, so I can’t understand why monthly is so high. Without 10k down, it’s $1174.

Just so you know, not all the $10K is considered down payment; you're paying the taxes and fees up front, too.

Leaving the $10K aside, with the prices you've given me, I get $1032/mo, assuming the taxes and fees are paid at signing.

Generally, subtract $30/mo for each $1000 down. So, if $7K is applied as down, the payment should be in the neighborhood of $800/mo, or so.

Ask the dealer for a screenshot of their internal lease worksheet.

This dealer may be using a 3rd party bank or credit union, in which case we don't know those programs; we only have the numbers from BMWFS.

If you are in NY, this is likely a Credit Union lease. Or, they've just misquoted the money factor (this is the most likely)

Can I ask how you arrived at $1032, i want to negotiate with my dealer, after taxes paid ($5,832), my dealer is quoting me $1101.29.

I was quoted $995/mo for 36 months, with $5,669 due at signing. I asked for no cap cost reduction. The quoted price was MSRP of $66,370, with the all-in price of $72,079.08. Does this seem right?

I'd ask for a breakdown of the $5669 due at signing - should include taxes and fees and first payment.

Dealer quote seems reasonable, given the almost $6K upcharge from MSRP.

Is it strange the dealer wouldn't tell me the actual MF? (probably a rhetorical question) I even talked to the GM about it. They did give me decent pricing but I couldn't get an answer about the MF when I was trying to make sure it matched the number I got on the forum. The salesperson said they don't mark up the MF but the lease payment I got with these numbers was $100 less than what they gave me.
