    Dealer says they are given MF by bmw and can’t alter it. Is that true? Cant a bmw dealer alter the MF even if from bmw financing?

    The base MF is set by BMW, but the dealer is free to mark it up as much as .00040 for extra profit.

    Looks like 2024 mf for xdrive m440 gc 36/12 is 0.00165 with 54% residual. That’s from a guess based on an offer I placed that was accepted

    The dealer is quoting 55% residual on the MSRP and not the discounted amount. Is that how it works?
    Also, they are saying that MF is fixed at 0.0025 since BMW Financing cannot go lower than 5.99% APR.

    Yes, residual is based on the full MSRP.

    Dealer can mark up the MF by 40 basis points, or .00205.
