    Thank you everyone, not sure if I came back and shared but we got a little offer 4% off MSRP in NY state for CX-30 Premium and leased it at very reasonable numbers. The lease payment was very similar to Carbon Edition due to higher residual on the premium, and with a lot more additional features on the Premium.

    This is our 2nd Mazda after CX-5 purchase few months prior.

    Need Advice Please - working with three dealers this week in Colorado on a 2023 Preferred CX-30 Lease 10K/36 months in 80207
    I have yet to be able to get them to agree to a .00185 MF? RV offered is in line at 62%. Zip 80207
    Best offer on MF today is .00284 which as I understand is in line with the "select" lower trim level.

    Any guidance/perspective/advice is appreciated?

    Dealer cannot alter the residual value - it is set by the bank.

    They are, however, allowed to mark up the base MF for extra profit.

    Which dealers are you working with? Groove, McDonald, others?

    Hello I am looking at a Mazda CX30 lease (NJ) whereby dealer has added the acquistion fee to the cap cost of the car but has left the $799 doc fee out of it. I think I have seen other lease offers where acquisition fee is left out of cap cost but included as a drive-off fee (i.e. cash due at signing) along with doc fees, title/registration etc.

    Question: is it negotiable to move it out of the cap cost so I don't pay interest on it? Is this standard on Mazda leases? Has anyone else encountered same?

    You can arrange it however you like. It's possible that the doc fee is non-taxable in NJ, as long as it's paid upfront, which might be why they structured it, that way.

    But, you can pay anything upfront that you wish. Just ask them.
