    Thanks. One other dumb question- I’m just starting to figure out the lease world, and I’m confused by the MFs quoted in this thread. My understand is that equivalent APR is 2400 x MF. But at 0.00013 a rate of 0.312, when loan interest rates are at like 5-6%. Could you help me understand what I’m missing?

    Kia is giving you the lower MF as an incentive to lease; the MF does not have to track to current interest rates, or fed activity.

    Not at all. But I‘m surprised any financial institution would extend money for less than an equivalent term US treasury bond, so I just wanted to double check I wasn’t missing anything with the conversion of MF to APR.

    These are captive banks. They aren't making loans in a vacuum. They are owned by the manufacturer.

    Is there a way to check if the 1500 vin specific summer cash is on a particular vehicle. I have a good offer on a Land in NY but he said the 1500 is not on that particular one. Something I can verify? A different lease calculator showed the 8300 in lease cash and the 1500. Thanks. Feeling more confident going in later because of this forum!

    I don't know any way to do it, except ask the dealer that has it.
