1) I noticed when I got home they put me in tier 3 (credit score of 700-719) but I am at 750. Wouldn't that put me in tier 1?
2) normally I would not put any equity of a trade into a lease, but this is for my wife and she prefers a lower payment. Having said that, my online offer from carmax is 15,600, almost 3k higher than theirs. Will carmax try and nickel and dime me when I actually try and go sell it to them like this dealer says? I've never dealt with them before and the nearest carmax is more than an hour from here, so obviously I'd like less hassle (but 3k is 3k!).
Any other thoughts are appreciated. Is the MF correct most importantly? Finance charge of $8,290 seems absurd, is that right?

1. If this is a quote, they might have assumed tier 3 before running your credit. You should expect tier 1 wiht your score 2. I've known folks who have sold to Carmax without any issues; if you've described the car accurately in terms of condition, they should hold to their offer. 3. The 36 month MF is .00262 for the 2024 Sorento PHEV, so it's being marked up on you (or, it's that dang credit score issue)

I realize it's different for every finance company, but Is there a way I can contact Kia financial and have them confirm to me directly, or will they not give me that info? I just want to make sure they are not giving me the run around lol.
