Maybe a stupid question, but the .00095 MF, is that considered the average for my area? The best MF a local dealership would be capable of? I’ve recently been quoted a lease with MF of .00135 and just wanted to know how best to approach negotiating down to the number you provided. For background, my credit would fall in the excellent range.

The .00095 is the base rate for top tier credit; the dealer is allowed to mark it up .00040 for extra profit.

Tell the dealer you want the base rate, or you'll shop elsewhere.
