    Hi! New to leasing and trying to understand how to negotiate the best deal I can.

    Went to a dealer and was quoted a 2.05% APR on a 2025 Mach E Premium RWD EXT (36 months/12k miles) in zip code 92630.

    Is the dealer trying to make a profit with the high APR?

    How close to the 0.05% APR being referenced in this thread should I try to get?

    Is it realistic to ask the dealer for a 0.05% APR and how likely is a dealer to accept that rate?

    If you have top tier credit, the dealer is marking up the APR for extra profit.

    You want the base rate, or find another dealer. Be polite, but firm.
