    how is your search going? I'm near you in DC and i'm looking for a light long range w/ tech package (about $2k less MSRP) but best deal I've seen is about $505/mo 12k mi, 36 mo with $0 down

    Thank you to the moderators here very much! Leased a 2025 EV6 Light Long Range AWD with tech package last night. Most dealers around me thought the deal I wanted was crazy and rejected it out of hand but I kept pushing because of the intel shared with me on this forum and got them to the .00144 MF, $15,000 in rebates ($13,000 lease cash, $1,000 bonus cash, $1,000 loyalty) plus $4,000 off MSRP, no dealer adds, no bogus fees on a 24 month / 10k lease. The only amount due at signing was the first month payment. It’s surprising several dealers I encountered that at first did not even quote prices with the full rebates available. I guess they were hoping the customer did not even realize the guaranteed savings existed! I do think there are probably large regional differences on how fast dealers want to unload the EVs. Here by me, a lot didn’t seem to feel as much pressure. The info here is invaluable!

    Wow, the lease cash didn't drop this month with the $7500 federal EV tax credit ending last month.

    For those who don't know, when the $7500 federal EV tax credit was still in effect, the leasing company, in this case Kia Finance, would claim the tax credit and pass it on to the customer as part of the lease cash so once the tax credit went away, many of us expected the lease cash to drop by about the same amount as the tax credit.

    Yeah it must be because they still have a lot of 2025 inventory to move. They will also probably release the 2026 in 2 or 3 months so they don't want to be stuck with a lot of 2025s. Kia may also be able to afford high incentives since I think the cost of the battery has come down a lot due to the prices of the materials like lithium falling so much in the past 2 years.

    signed a 36/10 lease on one of the then-17 instances of the 2025 EV6 GT for sale. it's a rare bird because Kia dropped it silently mid year, deleting it from the website and configurator and all.

    anyway, Fowler Kia Longmont (really Firestone but that's their name), $2,165 dealer discount that more than offsets a $699 dealer fee, no add-ons (at least for cost--they threw in some paint and rim protection at no net cost), no markup on MF. bake in the Kia lease cash and signed over CO credit, add 9.15% Denver city/county tax and that comes out to a hair below $580/mo for 0 extra down, all taxes and fees included.

    I am satisfied with this deal, and knowing the precise numbers from here was invaluable in making the transaction happen without hijinx.

    Could be wrong but I believe the below is a good deal:

    36mo/10k
    MSRP of $52,550 (went with Light AWD to qualify for MA EV rebate)
    $12,900 lease cash
    $2,365 discount
    Zero drive off at $509.61 per month (includes 6.25% tax and $850 dealer+doc fees)

    $3,500 EV rebate handled separately as dealer is in another state.
