hi got a question, hopefully this is the right place to ask... if a dealer is saying the EV tax credit will be applied to the residual, do the quoted residuals given out here already have that factored in or should i be expecting a higher residual at point of sale? thanks

You'll have to ask for an explanation.

They could mean:
a) The tax credit is already applied to the (increased) residual
b) The residual will be increased by the amount of the tax credit

Well, no. GM and Ford found a loophole for leases by having their leasing arms pre pay for some of the EV's they will lease out this quarter.

Unclear how long it will last, but definitely for now, they will still get the 7500 benefit to aid their high RV in the lease structures.

That said, incentives always change each month, so numbers will change this month, but there is no EV credit expiration induced change this month.
