    .00220 MF and 65% residual
    $1500 lease cash

To get this payment with .00260 MF (likely marked up by the dealer), would require:
    $48,345 adjusted CAP cost.

Not sure how you got the extra $500 rebate, but the CAP reduction is the balance of $2000 rebate, minus the first payment. It makes me think you might have ZERO due at signing, rather than the first payment.

    $41085 sale price
    $650 lease acquisition fee
    $250 title/registration?
    $2000 sales tax?

    Approx $44,000 total.

But, your number is closer to $48345 + $1406 cap reduction = $49,750.

$5750 more, to get to the $44,000 total, that I just estimated.

Do you have an itemization of the adjusted CAP cost, and their number for the Adjusted CAP?

I appreciate your help. I just asked for the cap cost itemized. Let's see what I get. What should the lease payment be around for this car? What should I be asking for? Again, thank you!

Okay.. missed a decimal point in filling my spreadsheet

    Okay, not terrible.

But.. money factor is marked up from .00220 to .00260.

That added about $30/mo. to your payment.

I don't know if $1400 off MSRP is a good deal, as I don't follow the market.

Do you know what they mean by "under amount $8613.20"?

    .00220 MF and 65% residual

I'll break it down with the info they provided:
    MSRP: $42,585
    Discount: 1500
    Sale price: 41,085
    Total rebates: 2,000
    Doc Fee: 175
    Service Agreement: 0
    Maintenance Agreement: 0
    Gap: 0
    Security deposit : 0
    Upfront charges: 0
    Advance payments: 593.79
    Total Cap Reduction: 1406.21
    Residual Amount: 27,680.25
    Money Factor: .0026%

That's the info I have on the numbers. VIN 5NMP2DG1XTH078966
The number you need is the Adjusted Cap Cost, and how they itemize the numbers.

It doesn’t look very good to me
I appreciate your help. I just asked for the cap cost itemized. Let's see what I get. What should the lease payment be around for this car? What should I be asking for? Again, thank you!
    Selling price $41,085
    Doc fee: $175
    Cap fees: 162.50
    Cap taxes: 1822.51
    Gross cap cost: 42072.50
    Cap Cost reduction: 0
    Rebated reduction: 1406.21

    Depreciation: 14808.55
    Rent/lease Charge: 5667.84
    monthly tax: 0
    Total of payments 21376.44

I appreciate your help. I just asked for the cap cost itemized. Let's see what I get. What should the lease payment be around for this car? What should I be asking for? Again, thank you!
    Correction: Rent/Lease charge: $6567.84
Okay.. missed a decimal point in filling my spreadsheet

    Okay, not terrible.

But.. money factor is marked up from .00220 to .00260.

That added about $30/mo. to your payment.

I don't know if $1400 off MSRP is a good deal, as I don't follow the market.

Do you know what they mean by "under amount $8613.20"?
I just asked for 10% off MSRP and the correct money factor. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again for all the help. I appreciate it.

Hello, and thanks for your help! Can I please get the MF and RV for a 2026 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid, zipcode: 13673. I currently have an offer of MSRP: $42,585 with a purchase price of $41,085 plus $2,000 rebates. Residual amount is $27,680.25 and a money factor of .0026%. With a lease payment of $593.79 for 36 months with 12,000 miles. Cap reduction of $1,406.21. This payment must include taxes and fees because the only thing due at signing is $593.79.

    Which trim?
    Sorry SEL
    FWD or AWD?
AWD, Can you also tell me about any incentives?

You spent more time deleting my other post, responding to my last, and probably since you're a mod and need the last word your reply and or removing of this post.

Bill me for your time if you really are that inconvenienced. Or better yet just tell me there's a limit instead of acting like a jerk.

Look at it from our perspective- we have 200 or so different makes and models to monitor. There are only two of us.

We see it as someone who is collecting numbers without much thought as to what they really want. A little internet research and a few test drives might pare back the number of your requests.

Are you going to test drive all 26 makes, models and trims?
