next to a brown Chevy II wagon. Behind a white small car. Thinking it is a Corolla, but the grill is a bit blurry so could be a Colt.

White car in Vancouver is a Mazda R100 I believe.

Westwood LA, 1986, credit to the indicated source, zooms fine:

I'd love to know the story behind the license plate. Just to the right rear of the Olds is a medium-dark blue Omnirizon.

I think the Nissan looking sedan is a Mitsubishi Tredia, something maybe seldom seen outside of the west coast.

Is the pinstripe on the blue MitsuStanza to the left supposed to look like that or is it a bad repair job?

And the Cordia was the two door version. I remember seeing them at a Mitsu dealer in Phoenix when I was in college.

I suspect that is intentional, reminds me of the kind of spear head front fender style tape stripe I seem to recall being a thing in the malaise days.

2nd row a Volvo 122 next to a Datsun 510. A few years apart but look like modern and antique.

Looks like a drag race off the line between the pair of competing compacts, the Valiant and the Comet.

I cannot quite ID the red ragtop parked in front of the church. Was going to guess Porsche, but I'm far from certain.

Did all church designs from the era come out of the same pattern book?

    Red car: Austin Healy?

Green MGB convertible parked 2 cars in front of the red convertible.
Austin Healey seems like a good call.

And a '57 Ford pickup oncoming looking to take it out.

One non-car thing of interest: I see the sign for Lum's on one of the buildings proclaiming "Famous Steamed Hot Dogs". When I was a kid and taken on vacations to the US we would occasionally see a Lum's and never could get what their specialty was and as a result never visited one. If that was indeed their claim to fame perhaps that's why they are no longer around. But maybe they changed away from that. It would have been a good idea to give some idea of what they specialized in on their signage I would think.

That's it.. the steamed hot dogs.

When the one closed in our area, in the mid-70s, it turned into my favorite bar in the late '70s, when I became 21.

After graduating with honors from a fine northeastern university (both of who's basketball teams did not add to their trophy case of NCAA championships this year), I immediately got a job at Lum's as a dishwasher. Eventually promoted to the grill, I became the favorite chef of the mayor of the town in which it resided.

This was simply step one in my master plan to remain a Toys R Us kid, I never wanted to grow up. Step 2 was to move to Vermont for the winter and ski bum. Alas, the best laid plans of mice and men... Ma nature decided to spend the winter in Florida as it just did not snow. To save $, I had prepurchased a dozen universal ski passes, while used they may have been more aptly titled, "Universal Ride the Ski Lift and Hike down on Skis" passes (in essence, I broke Vermont).

Fast forward 43 years, and my plan finally came to fruition, as I retired. Alas, again, Lum's retired much earlier. I was never to professionally grill (or wash dishes) again.

But I did own a bunch of cool cars along the way!

'21 Dark Blue/Black Audi A7 PHEV (mine); '22 White/Beige BMW X3 (hers); '20 Estoril Blue/Oyster BMW M240xi 'Vert (Ours, read: hers in 'vert weather; mine during Nor'easters...)

At Hollywood and Vine I will pick off the pretty two tone blue 66 Galaxie, somewhat unusual paint scheme.
