Located in Spokane, WA, but I'm thinking I'll have to sell regionally thru Autotrader or Ebay.
    4door wagon, V8, AWD
    9800 miles - that's right, less than 10k
Champagne Pearl exterior, tan leather inside
Options: navigation, 6 disc CD changer, wind deflector, carpet mats, hood protector, wood dash
Condition: always garaged, oil changed at 3K (Mobil 1) by dealer. No repairs.
Excellent condition, only a few very tiny chips.
Purchased new from a dealer in September, 2003, so it still has over a year of factory warranty left.
How much do you think I can get for this truck on Ebay or Autotrader, or are there any other selling options? I don't think the Spokane area market is large enough to sell locally, but I could be wrong.
I also have a set of 4 virtually new Bridgestone Winter Dueled tires on OEM Toyota Alloy wheels that I will include or negotiate for separately.
    =================================

    9,800 miles .....? in an 02 ...? ........... Wow.! ....

Waaaay over there in Spokane .. right color, right options, no miles, 3k service, garaged -- what can I say.?

If the garage wasn't made of paper mache', it hasn't been a target for Mt St Helens or the whacko driver at Wal-Mart and it looks and feels new .. then trade side, in and around the super tall $30's, maybe the low low $31ish figure .....

Superb vehicle down Retail Rd, hard to get and hard to find .... I agree, the Spokane market "might" be a little timid, so I would be trying to hit the N. Cal, Seattle, Oregon market .... get some super pics, then some real nice online ad's in the 3 Big papers ... personally, I don't think it will last long on the 3 deal package -- $35,950 *asking* and cry and kick your feet at $34,950/$35,5 ~~ but take it ......... is it okay to say: the miles save it.? ..l.o.l.....

Don't forget to let me know on this one .!

Repost of a repost - value please Terry.
    --------------------------------------------------------
    Hi Terry,

Long time listener, first time poster about car values to you.
This is actually for an aunt of mine who lives in Phoenix. I'm considering
buying this car and bringing it to Canada if the price is right for me. The fact
that it has never seen winters in 7 years is too good to pass up.

So can you provide me with trade-in (probably at a Lexus or Infiniti dealer in Phoenix) and also PP retail prices please.

Let me join the parade of people who laud and appreciate the service you provide here, not to mention amusing reading material.

99 Lexus ES 300 in the land of the suns. (Phoenix, AZ)
    Grey over grey cows
    131K big ones. (Yes, 131K)
    4-speed auto
6 disc changer (I think factory installed, but it could have been dealer)
Has slider, climate control, TCS, alloys etc plus the usual goodies,
No Nav, Nak. (If I am missing out any options, assume it doesn't have it)
Rubber about a month old, brakes 60-70% remaining
Interior has had its share of spills, but cleaned up by a careful owner.
Exterior in decent shape, just a few rock chips on the hood, and maybe a few small door dings.
Everything works just fine, has all maintenance records since 20K miles.
No accident damage or claims of any kind.

    Thanks a lot, really

    Location: NYC, NY
Time of ownership: since August 2004
Make: 2004 Infiniti 5 Speed Automatic G35 Coupe
    Estimated Mileage at trade-in: 8000
    Engine: 3.5 Liter V-6, 280 HP, 270 lb-ft torque
    Driveline: Rear wheel drive
    Color: laser red/graphite leather
Major Options: Premium Package (includes Bose® premium audio system with AM/FM and in-dash, single-slot 6-disc CD autochanger, and eight speakers and Radio Data System (RDS)
Power sliding tinted glass sunroof with one-touch open/close, tilt feature and sliding sunshade
    Dual-zone Automatic Temperature Control
    Auto on/off headlights
Homelink® Universal Transceiver offers control for compatible garage doors, home lighting and home security systems
    Automatic anti-glare rearview mirror
Power tilt and telescoping steering wheel), Splash guards, Carpeted trunk mat, Body side moldings
Condition: Excellent, 3 hairline scratches at front right bumper, replaced rear bumper, perfect paint. Interior is perfect. Tires are still new. Brakes are good. Front windshield has a dime size crack from ice.
Other: One insurance claim. My car was keyed. It cost $3200 to fix, but I had a $500 deductible. Everything is back to its excellent condition, because the body shop I used was the same exact one that my dealership uses for their brand new cars.
    1. How much more money can I expect from a private sale over a trade-in?
    2. How can I go about to sell my car privately? After taxes and everything, will I still
be making more money selling the car privately?
Thanks a lot for all your help!!!
    ====================================

Yikes.! ..... I never realized how ugly the G35 Coupe's were until you see a big blown-up pic ..l.o.l...

But anyway ..... it's an 04, we got Itsy Bitsy tiny miles, auto thing, color is ho-hum, Prem pack, we got the Bozo sound, slider, dual breeze and we have $3,200 of extra do-dads on the paint side ... kinda hard from the pic to see how well the paint was blended and usually a nice hot summer will change the view if it was done in a less than average finish ....

My guess.? (without really putting my hands and eye's on it) .. your probably staring down the barrel of the tall $25's low $26's on the trade side (depending on the paint work) ........ down Retail Rd, with all the history and all the records in the front seat and a disclaimer by the Pope: $29,950 *asking* and $28,9/$29,5 finds a new owner ... the paint work can be a real problem, but .. the miles could save it ...............

    Don't forget the update .................!

    Terry.

PS: how much for the Amigo ..?

Hard to say without seeing the car but it doesn't sound like you have a lot to sell here.

Miles are miles and a new engine does not substantially change value on an old car like this, unfortunately. Cosmetics are far more important. A buyer can't really tell a new engine from an old one but he sure can tell a new top from an old one or a dented fender from a clean one.

Given your miles, the ripped top, the dent----you aren't looking at a lot of money here.....what were you thinking for a price?

    Hello,
Could somebody please give me an idea of the trade-in value of my car (1996 Mercury Sable LS 4-dr sedan, just under 70K miles, very good condition, just replaced brakes and starter last year)? I was just at a new-car dealer recently, and he told me that since nobody's out there looking to buy an old Mercury Sable (as opposed to a Honda Accord, for example), there's no way I could ever get the Edmunds TMV value of ~$2000 on a trade-in. Is this correct? Or should the Edmunds TMV already have that factored in, and the dealer's full of crap? Any help/insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Whoops, my apologies I completely missed that template. Here goes:

    Location: Northern NJ
    Year/Make/Model: 1996 Mercury Sable LS
    Body Style: 4dr Sedan
    Engine: 6-cylinder automatic
    Driveline: FWD
    Mileage: 70,000
    Color: Red exterior, beige interior
    Major Options: None
Condition: Few minor scratches on front bumper, otherwise perfect; Tires - 2yr old Michelins; Brakes replaced in '04; Oil change every 3K miles/3 months, Tuneups every other year

In general, though, I'd also like to know if that dealer's comment that Edmunds TMV doesn't reflect the general 'desirability' of a car's make/model, is true.

    Thanks in advance!

What Edmunds doesn't take into account is the DEALERSHIP'S desireability to take the car in trade. I can't imagine the market being big for 9 year old Sables on a dealer's lot, regardless of the fine condition it's in. Auction car? Buy here/pay here lot?

All that said, I would bet a nice ad in the local newspaper would move this car. Asking $3K....let it go for $2.5K.

I'm not a dealer and I'm sure Mathias and/or Terry would be able to put a number on this that's correct.

I inherited a small fleet of 96-02 Ford Taurus vehicles in the past three years so let me address a few issues.

The Taurus/Sable models are a dime a dozen as the Taurus has been a favorite of the rental car AND corporate fleets for the past ten years.

I bought several '02 and '03 Taurus LS with 50k miles for $5-5.5k over the past few years for family members.

Your car, if it runs well AND looks pretty good, should bring $2-2.5k if you sell the vehicle. I doubt that any dealer will give you more than $1k for it.

Edmunds TMV is an interesting tool but it is not always a very good assessment of what a vehicle is going for in a particular market. The '96 Taurus/Sable has a bad reputation for disposable automatic transmissions. That brings down the value a lot.

Personally, if i were you, and if you have fairly represented the car, I would hold on to the vehicle for another 2-3 years as it has been well cared for and runs well. On the other hand, if you were me, you would hold onto the car until a major repair is required down the road taht exceeds the value of the car.

    Hello,

Thanks jlawrence, that helps a lot. Unfortunately keeping it is difficult because we live in a semi-urban area and so parking is difficult to come by -- if we get a new car, we really need to get rid of this one. You mention differences in markets -- do you mean regional differences? We live in the Northeast, would you say that would make the Sable more or less desirable?

Thanks again for your valuable perspective on this.
  • breindersbreinders Member Posts: 23
    Terry,

I traded this car in today and in case you are interested in tracking such things here are the numbers:

Took it to the used car department of a Dodge dealership and asked what they would give me for it as a stand alone transaction. $11,000.

Then took it to the Honda dealer where I was buying the new the new car. They offered $10,000 (we had already negotiated the price of the new car before discussing the trade in). I told them I already had received a quote of $11,000 and after much discussion they agreed to it.

**You mention differences in markets -- do you mean regional differences? We live in the Northeast, would you say that would make the Sable more or less desirable? **

I am talking about regional differences. For example, the Taurus is a popular vehicle in a lot of midwestern cities. From my office, I see eight of them out in the parking lot here in Chicagoland. I doubt that I would see more than two if I was in SoCal.

If I lived in your neck of the woods, I would see more Subarus than I see in this area.

In the wonderful state of South Carolina ... we have a a 99 Ply-mouth GC Voyager, it's got the 3.8 V6, we got 100k+, quads, infinity, solar glass, color is ho-hum, dual breeze, 100% service, new round things and stoppers ...... if the interior hasn't been used as science experiment, the air goes Polar and it hasn't had any close encounters of the Maaco kind .. then trade side, in and around the mid/high Teens, might maybe "could" get lucky and see the low/mid $2's if it glows in the dark, looks and runs like 50k and it need -0- ...... the miles aren't your friends here ..

**but won't honor KBB or Edmunds or NADA ** ........ hmmm I'm confused, the last time I looked they weren't in the car buying business - it's 8 years old with 100k, what's it worth..? ....

If ~ it's as clean as you think it is, then down Retail Rd it should go -- get a super Ad, super clean and have the service records hanging from the antenna, then: $4,900 *asking* and cut that barn stormer loose for the first $3,5/$4,5 ........ keep in mind, it's a 8 year old Plymouth with 100k, not a Piaget ........... :surprise:

Ditto what Mr_Shiftright said. I'm thinking $500--$1500 in a private sale, given the miles & condition. I suppose you could start at $2000 or $2500(?) & see what happens, but I'd probably give it a week or 2 & grab whatever the highest offer is--even if it's a few hundred $$. On the plus side, there are still a few "Saab nuts" out there, & it's summer.....
  • Mr_ShiftrightMr_Shiftright Member Posts: 64,481
Yeah, that would be a good target price if you fix those things and the car looks sharp. Definitely sell it, as soon as you can. Take it from me, I've had three of them.
  • carnivalsccarnivalsc Member Posts: 21
    Gosh,

I thought this van was only 5 years old, per what a dealer wrote on his little 4-square sheet, which I have right here, thus his argument that the mileage was too high for it's age. By my figures, and what another dealer told me, you figure it's age by when you purchased it, so, it is 6 years old......or as another dealer tried to convince me, it is 7 model years old, which would make the mileage within the 15K per year range.....are you sure you were looking at '99 prices? :confuse: See, this just keeps getting more and more confusing,,,,,I give up. And, the AC is colder than any new car I have driven in the last 2 weeks, which is something, considering it is hotter than h--- and humid down here.

I would love one of these babies, but I just bought my Subaru, and that sucked my car buying ability. (and my wife would kill me).

'94 is the last year of the "classic" 900 convertable. There are people out there that really want one of these puppies. What I would do is fix it up nice a purty. Replace the top, fix the dents, detail the car so it really shines. Then put an add in a SAAB web site. Google saab classifieds, and you whould find a good site. (can I post the name here?).

Anyway, if the engine is turbo, then you can *ask* 6K on that site. Otherwise 4500K.
Mention the new engine and tranny and all the recent repairs. It will help there. Also mention the "new" top you are putting in.

These can go for well over book on that site as it specifically connects saab sellers to the quirky few that like saabs. And the 1994 is considered by some to be the *best* year for true saab convertables, as oposed to the current 9-3 malabu.

    Terry,

hope all is well... How's the golf game progressing? What do you think about this one:

    2000 Lexus Rx300
    black exterior w/ beige guts
    Tennessee Vol country
    2WD
    72,000 miles
Loaded out as the typical Lexus, including heated seats, Nakamichi stereo, moon roof, etc... inside is "fairly clean", no fry invasions of any sort, just the normal wear and tear on a 5 year old car (Leather was starting to crack in a few places, carpet is a little worn on the driver side floor mat). everything works fine.
fairly new tires, about 12k miles on them.
new brakes within the past 2 weeks
now, the outside.... (we've discussed this before) Car has some small scratches here and there, few bumps and bruises, nothing major (the luggage over the hood, could see the scratches but I worked a fair amount of it out)... but w/ the black ext, you can see them all. fair amount of rock chips on the front-end bumper and hood, needs a fair amount of touch-up work done. Paint is glossy as I regularly polished and waxed with Meg 7 and 26.
    No prior accident history.

was allowed a legitimate $15,000 on the trade...

"I thought this van was only 5 years old"

This has been covered here many times. I have a 2002 GMC Envoy which I've had for just under 4 years. That would make a 1999 vehicle 7 years old. Many 2006 models are already available, and in two months nearly every "new" vehicle will be a 2006.

When you sell your vehicle, the new buyer doesn't care whether you bought it at the beginning of the model year or as a leftover, they are the same age. The older the vehicle, the more irrelevant the purchase date becomes.

Once you hit 100,000 miles, average miles per year is meaningless. You've driven the best miles that the van had in it. It may go another 10,000 miles or another 150,000, and there is a cost associated with that risk.
  • carnivalsccarnivalsc Member Posts: 21
II know the model year age, but it is not 5 years old like a dealer tried to convince me 2 days ago, or 8 years like the previous poster did.......Maybe we need birth certificates on vehicles.

    Terry,
Pulled the trigger yesterday on the Mazda3 S down here in Lauderdale. You were dead on for the value of the '01 Altima GXE Ltd. Ed. as they did give us $4000. for it. It's in a bit of rough condition and the air is almost totally gone. Even Nissan can't fix it, as the part is still on back order.
She got the S model with wheel locks as the only option. We had a $500. Mazda coupon and that dealership reluctantly honored their $300. free gas coupon, as it had no experation date and they didn't want to loose the deal. Only problem was no one would give up a Titanium car, so she decided on a silver one which they are getting now from another Lauderdale dealer. So, we paid invoice less the $800. in coupons.
Thanks for all your help, as again...YOU WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY! Man, U ARE GOOD!!!!

Sounds like good advice--probably better than mine :-) But I'm wondering what it would cost to fix the top & the dents--if it's $1000, is it worth it on a 163K mile car? I did a search on e-bay: a '94 900S 5sp. with 63K miles & looking Mint from the pics sold for $5500--& a nice looking '92 auto. with 52K miles went for $4200. But with 163K? Personally, I wouldn't put more than $300-$500 into that car, from the description, & then I'd pray for $2500. Very cool cars tho.

    cheers, Woody

Well, if I own it and it was made in 1999 model year then it's got to be 6 years old (05 is the current calendar year).

If I'm buying it and it was made in 1999 model year then its 8 years old (06's are here and 07's are around the corner)

If I'm selling it and it was made in 1999 model year then its 5 years old (hey, some 04's are still on the lot).

Did you see that it's an automatic? That slaps it really hard for Saab enthusiasts. And the miles are very high, too. I don't think Saab freaks are really going to respond to this car as they would for a low miles pristine 5-speed, I really don't.
  • ghuletghulet Member Posts: 2,564
Also, IIRC, those old-style SAABs have a THREE speed automatic, though I could definitely be wrong, perhaps by '94 they had four. I had one with the 'S' engine and the three-speed automatic, they're not much fun, and use a lot of gas.

am deciding between an Accord and Camry. Five minutes after the Honda salesman stressed that Honda's have much better resale values than Toyota, they offer me $500 for my high mileage 99 Civic. Another offered $1000 but the price on the new car was much higher.

    Please help Terry.
Jackson, NJ (25 miles east of Trenton)
    1999 Honda Civic EX
    2door
1.6 liter, 4 cylinder, 16 value VTEC engine
    5 speed Manual
    FWD
141,000 miles (125 highway miles round trip to work)
    Ext:Green, Int:Grey
Sunroof, driver+pass Airbags, AC, AM/FM/CD radio
Exterior: Very Good condition except 6-inch dent where wife backed into rear quarter panel with other car (quoted $350 to bang it out + repaint from local auto body)
Interior: Driver side floor has some coffee stains, passenger side perfect, backseat two melted crayon stains.
New tires 10k ago, kept up with Maintainance, brakes about 20k old
Maybe I am way off base but I was pretty disappointed. If it weren't a 2-door, I would be keeping it myself. What would you suggest? Used car lots? Classified Ads? Please help.
    ====================================

I was born bewildered, and I don't even live in Naw Josey .....

But anyway we got this 99 Hoooonda Civic EX el coupe' .. it's got (gulp.!) 141,000 big miles, it's got the handshaker, slider, tunes, no sale green, newer rubber and the stoppers are probably kinda ok (what color crayons.?) service seems ok and the Mrs. had a $350 love affair with another car ... so where's the good news.?

**$500 for my high mileage 99 Civic. Another offered $1000** ..

Is this a domestic dealer .? and are you telling me everything.???

If so, I have a funny feelin' this one probably doesn't have any "curb appeal" .. the fender probably looks like $800, and I'm thinkin' the dealer feels they need to drop $1,000 into it to make it move .... that said, unless your baking chickens on the air conditioner vents because it's blowing hot air, the windshield is busted out, you only have 3 gears left and the clutch left town on the last Greyhound Bus .. then there's no such thing as a $500/$1,000 Honda -- not in this country anyway ..l.o.l.....

If the air is hot, the front end is shaky and the dent "looks" real baaaad ... then trade side, in and around the $2,500ish zipcode, maybe $2 Grand on a bad day ........ $500/$1,000...? drop me the address and I will have a transport there before the 4th of July ....

Sounds like a job for: Retail Rd .... finish any service, do the $350 dance, get a Fat Daddy detail, Polar air, a real nice 4/5 liner Ad in the Big paper for at least 14 days, all the service records super glued to your forehead then: $4,490 *asking* and cut it loose at the first $3,5/$4,0 ............... $500/$1,000.?!? are you sure this thing wasn't hit by the same Iceberg as the Titanic..?

Let me know what happens .................................... ;)

I'm glad things worked out and enjoy the new driver .....

**Thanks for all your help, as again...YOU WERE RIGHT ON THE MONEY! Man, U ARE GOOD!!!!** .....

pshaw pshaw ... even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in awhile ... but thanks for the compliment ....

So what are you saying, I'm slow..?

In the city of Sam Houston, and the second most humidity city I've ever encountered .. we have a 02 5.4 V8 Ferd Expedition EB - it's a 2wd, the miles are low, color is hot, 3rd seat, we got new round things, we got the Disney package and you say no accidents and the service is ok ..... well, if we haven't been to every $2.00 Swirlomatic car wash in town, the interior doesn't have that Bonnie and Clyde look and it looks clean and needs -0- ..... then trade side, in and around the mid/tall $15's, might "maybe" see the low low low low low $16's .... the color might hold this dude back ...

Let me know what happens ......!

    ====================================

Is this a repost ..? or a repost of a repost.? .. it only counts if it's a repost of a repost of a repost .. -- (what did he say.??) ...

Your moving from Phoenix to Canada ...? .. how long you been off your Med's.?

So it's a 99 Lexus ES300 Arizona car with 131,000 big big miles .. probably a little sunburn on the rear deck, we got tunes, good color, slider, the rubber is deep, stoppers are ok, service seems to be fine and you say no battles at K-Mart ........ if it hasn't been hanging around any body shops, no repaints, the service is 125% and it looks, feels and drives like 50k and it's Clean .. then it's worth "around" the $5/$6ish figure to a dealer, and it's a strong $8ish contender on the Retail Side .... if it needs stuff, start deducting ...

Let me know what goes on .......................

....... If you got $11,000 from a Honda dealer .. then you did reeeally good.!

As a rule .. Honda dealers are kinda like the skinny red-head with the coke bottle glasses at the Prom, they don't get out muc - so they have a tendency to be very conservative on trades ..... you did real good.!

    Hello,

Trying to get some trade numbers for my 2002 Protege LX automatic with power moonroof and 15" alloy wheels.
Body and interior are in mint condition, except for the rear bumper that was scratched in the corner.
    Central NJ
    33,600 miles and dealer serviced.
    TIA..
    ================================

Nice little drivers ..... in NJ ..

Let's just say ..... it's the right color, low low miles, auto, LX, slider, newer round things and the service is 100% -- than means no bumper cars with a snow blower, no science experiments and no KFC in the interior ... if so, then trade side - in and around the low/mid $7's ..... if it needs stuff, start deducting ..

Terry, I need some help guesstimating my daughters cars value. It's a 97 Pontiac Grand Am 2-dr SE Coupe, 60K, Black w/gray cloth, V6, Auto, CD, pop-up moon roof thingie, PW/PDL, rear spoiler, cruise, cold AC, that's about it for extras. Condition is average, there is some minor damage to front driver side corner from a fender bender accident, the paint is fair overall, tires need replacing, interior would be excellent if it weren't for a couple of burn spots from a previous owner, engine/tranny runs strong but the charge light comes on occasionally without notice, everything else works, it's located in MA..

OK, by now you get the picture. It'll get you to Jimmy's Harborside... but it's not usually parked out front by the valet's. I figure/hope it might be worth more than a really good set of golf clubs and a weekend at the Boston TPC.

It seems the miles and the drivetrain are the best things it has going for it. :) Overall curb appeal is probably only fair-to-middle'n though. :( But, what sayeth the great automotive sage? :confuse:

    Thanks.

Trying to sneak in between macrame class and deep sea fishing. It's getting hard to get an appointment with the master these days!

For a friend, he wants to move up from this. He has heard from 7K- 8.5K ish from an Infiniti and a Caddy dealer. What say the Oracle?

2001 Acura CL Type S, San Marino Red
    86,000 miles
Body/Interior in good condition. Some body scratches on the bumpers but paint is in good condition. Everything is intact and works.

About a year ago I hit a deer and they replaced the whole front bumper and headlight, but there was no other body damage. But they did not have to replace any of the metal. They repainted the whole front end just to blend the colors but there were no marks on the hood or fenders.

I would classify condition overall as very good but not excellent. Car has had all scheduled service (with Acura) and never any major mechanical work. Needs a set of tires though.

Terry, I'm trying to come up with a fair value for a friendly transaction.

    in Los Angeles County
    '99 Honda Accord EX
    4 dr
    4 cyl., auto, fwd
    10,000 (ten thousand) miles
metallic goldish/brownish beige color (don't know what Honda called it)
leather, power and memory seats, moonroof, alloy wheels, single cd player, A/C

Clean condition. No dings or dents, paint and glass are fine. Brakes are barely worn. Tires have most of their original tread left, but are 6 years old and need to be replaced.

This was an elderly man's car. He drove it to the store, and on longer trips around Southern California when he got lost on the way to the store, for a couple of years. Then it was driven by his caregiver for a couple of years to take the owner on short trips. For the last two years, it's been a spare car driven once in a while by the original owner's grandson.

It has had some paint and body work done to repair bumper scrapes and an encounter with a garage door, but no crashes, and the paint matches perfectly.

Runs great, looks good, cold air.

I really enjoy reading this thread and hope you can help. Thanks.

    Terry,

This is for my wife's boss.

He has a 2001 Toyota Land Cruiser with all the options and only 7,000 little miles. It is basically in new condition. I think it is that ubiquitious Toyota goldy-tan with tan leather. It is located in Texas.

That is where the easy part ends. It is in Texas because in has been held in customs by the EPA for over two years. The vehicle was purchased in Dubai (somewhere in the middle east). It is apparently identical to the US model including emissions equipment. However, the EPA says it some of the computer diagnostic systems differ slightly. Quotes on bringing this vehicle into compliance are right at about $10,000. The EPA gave him one waiver and he used it for his Mercedes SL. They are playing hard ball now and won't consider giving him a second waiver.

    The questions are:

How much is this vehicle worth as it sits?
How much is it worth after spending $10,000 to bring it into compliance?
What do you do with it? Fix it? Put it on ebay and hope some desert sheik will buy it? Any other ideas?

It sounds like a nice vehicle. He says it even has a "turbocharged" AC to cope with those desert termperatures. He thinks he is going to bite the bullet and spend the $10K.

I dunno Stick, I have a stupid feeling they found the paintwork ... normal money.? probably the mid/high $10's .... a major visit from the Dutch Boys.?? cut it in half, then add 30% because it's an Acura .. sounds like $7/$8ish to me .......

Ta Daa.! .. sounds like a job for "Retail Rd" : a super this, a super that, yatti yatti yatti .. you know the drill, all the records, clean-up the candy bars, dump the beer cans, pull the Deer hair off the wipers, get some rubber and $10,900 *asking* and wave bye bye at the first $9,5/$10,5 --- disclose everything ....
