Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
Carvana keeps sending emails wanting my maverick. Same price $30,200. I barely paid more than that for it. Not bad over 2 years. I just don’t know what I would replace it with!

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
Okay. So good news and even better news.
I found a VW collision shop in my network and they primarily serve as the body shop for Porsche Bellevue, so I’m confident they can handle this. Car is getting dropped off tomorrow and they’ll start teardown.
Better news, even with an accident report, I’m getting buy quotes that are comically high - if I recover diminished value I’ll be more than whole and can swap into a non damaged version at nothing out of pocket.
Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
I have to admit the design choice to make the top half black to blend in with the window is a nice touch.... of course at that price point (i didn't even look) there should be lot of "nice touches"

Re: Chronic Car Buyers Anonymous
I was cruising along in the left lane probably 10-15 over and an Impala comes flying up behind me. I move over and let him go. Went back into the left lane and then a Range Rover, two unmarked Vics and a Tahoe all blow by me in the middle lane
Not a mile ahead there were marked cars slowing/stopping all the traffic. The guys in the above cars all circled the Impala, ripped the driver out and threw him in the back of one of the marked cars. Someone jumped into the Impala and moved it off the road and everyone moved out of the travel lanes.
Craziest thing I've ever seen and it happened in what felt like less than a minute.

Details only a car lover would convey!
Pretty scary!

Depending on state inspection requirements that might be the best solution.
That’s the problem. It would be nice to be driving a fully legal car. Luckily no tickets yet.

Re: Edmunds Members - Cars and Conversations
Just received permission from Docs I can drive again. Been a month and a half since I got behind the wheel. Just wanted to drive around a bit just to see how it felt (fine, but right leg still hurts). So, the horrors, went to a car wash because I'm not going to hand wash my car any time soon.————————————————
Went to a popular one in Sharonville, OH where they do the whole shebang...inside, outside, windows, vacuum, tire shine, etc.
Mostly, it's staffed by young people for a summer job and what I'll kindly surmise are people with questionable legal status. No matter, they did a great job.
Was talking to the kind (maybe 17-19 years old) that dried my car. He said he had lost 18 pounds in the last 3 days working. I tipped him well.
Oh year, good to have a clean car again, too.
Thanks for the warning. We now know to be on the lookout for an old geezer with a shiny car trying to learn how to drive again.

Anyway, good to hear you’re almost your old self again.

I missed about 4 pages, I have been ultra busy but I am putting in an appearance just for the fans.He has a number of videos like that criticizing the engine or transmission of usually low end cars although he trashes Range Rovers all the time. No details so I find him frustrating.
This guy as 5 cars you should not buy....short and sweet and kind of amusing:
