I just leased 09 A4. Money factor is .00071. Residual is 52% for 12k/yr with Audi care - service plan. Residual is 51%, 12k/yr without service plan. I would guess that for 15k, the residual would be 1-2% less. Bank fee for acquisition fee is $625.00.
Thank you, i live about 1 hour 15 mins away from the dealership - so i called a few places and they were very agreesive with prices. i;m not sure if you want to do the same and call. i did this on the last week of March - i read a lot of websites and they say to go like the last week of the month becuase depending on the dealership they may need to move their cars so they will definte go under invoice (they will cut into the dealer's hold back) - hope this helps - and good luck!
I am interest in leasing the audi a4 myself. I went to Anchor and they told me $436 a month 36 months 12k miles $2540 for taxes and fees. That is for PREMIUM. I really want the premium plus and $428 is very cheap. How much did you put down? Please help because I have never leased before. I am willing to go to Nyack for the car!
Audihelpp.....something doesn't add up with Audi4ppnonav's post about Palisades Audi aka Audi of Nyack not to mention he hasn't replied in days
I went to Anchor and they were at $489 for the Premium plus with no options.Beiner was at $509....both of these were thrown out with no negotiation....
I contacted a lease broker and I was quoted $459 for a Prem Plus and $469 for the sport package. I know they can get lower than a dealer because they have lower overhead
I spoke to him many times and have referred a few peopl to him for BMW's and Audi and he did great deals
I would give you his contact info, but if I do so here I think the post gets deleted.
Car Man..I am new to the site and have never leased before. I went to Anchor yesterday and was quoted for a 2009 Audi a4 quattro Premium with heated seats and bluetooth option $436 a month. That is for 36 months with 12k miles. Total due at signing is $2540. In my monthly payment is also a maintenance package. My questions are: 1. Is it worth getting the maintenance package? 2. I am really interested in the premium plus-no added options. What would you consider a good quote? 3. What is the most important information I need to tell the dealer when negotiating for the car? I see all these percents and I have no idea what they mean haha.
I am going with my uncle who apparently is a good negotiator so I figured id fill him in with all the information before getting to the dealership.
I'm in the L.A. area. A dealer offered me the following A4 2009 Quattro Premium, Silver, Bluetooth, CD changer, HomeLink He said he was selling it at invoice price.
$2700 down (includes all taxes, fees and 1st month payment) $381+tax monthly (35 months) about $18900 residual 12K miles per year
I got a quote of $675 a month for the above vehicle, with a list of about $47K and capped at $500 over invoice (with $500 incentive applied), with about $4100 up front--don't confuse "down" with "upfront" they are two separate things.
If you're rolling in dough then this deal is OK. If you're not rolling in dough then I see no reason to get all the goodies. I bought the base car with wood, and blue tooth. I put about 2700 out of pocket and I'm at 419 a month. The 2.0T is a great motor I see no reason to get the 6cyl motor unless you can really afford it and money is no object.
I know the Prestige has a lower residual than Premium Plus. I will be paying 645.74 for a Premium Plus, 2.0, Nav, sports package, Black/Black, Audi Care. 36 mo, 15,000 miles, No wood. Tax, fees all in. I think I was getting 51% residual. Delivery is due end of April. Rates may have dropped a bit so rent may go down. Classic Audi Eastchester, NY.
I suspect they deal better on in-stock A4s. Not many with Sports package to be had.
You can try internet salesmen at many dealerships if you bid your requirements. I would suggest Manhattan Audi and some NJ dealerships. Maybe even Audi of Greenwich CT now that Walter Noel and Fairfield Greenwich hedge fund boys will be rooming with Bernie M soon.
I suspect many of the great deals posted on this board are in markets with worse economy than the NYC burbs.
I did not go that way since I wanted many test drives and felt loyalty to the salesman and a local dealer.
I was tempted to bag the Nav. and get a Garmin for $300 but opted for it anyway. I never heard a B&O.
Sports package is completely different ride and steering.
hi audihelpp - fyi - before i lease my car - i vist this forum a lot but since then i am hardly here. i thought about the PREMIUM but it was too plain - i wanted the premium plus becuase of the LED lights and Xeon -
I got the lease on the last week of March - usually if you go the last week of month (depending on the dealership if they need to move their cars off the lot - they will give you a good deal)
my lease was like this cap cost $33,595.42 residual $19,513
36 months - 10K - my past 3 leases - i never drive more than 30K when i return the car - i only drive on the weekends
at lease sign: 428.89 - first month 625 - acq fee 152 - reg fee 1345.44 - staten island, NY sales tax 45 - doc fee 12.50 - NY state tire waste fee 2608.83 - total
I am not sure why mkfx does not believe this??
i will check this forum everyday till next Fri 4/24 at about this time 10pm to answer your questions that you might have. i will do my best to help
mkfx - i posted my lease previous and i also gave you some input on my experience. I was trying to help. i vaule everyone's input here. it seems like you don;t vaule my input or believe my posting by saying "something doesn't add up with Audi4ppnonav's post about Palisades Audi aka Audi of Nyack not to mention he hasn't replied in days"
Audippnonnav I apologize if I came of rude, I was trying to convey my disbelief for such an amazing deal... I have called every dealer in a 50 mile radius of Long Island and no one is even close to $428 a month.
If your cap cost was $33595 then your dealer did the deal at almost $1700 under invoice............... that just doesn't seem possible.
what was your salesmans name at Palasades? what is your name so I can reference the deal, and maybe get you a referral kick back in parts or service.
i plan on going to Palisades Audi next week with my uncle. I would like the dealers name also. It would be a miracle if he could get it down to that price.
I was offered 38,320.00 with a 325.00 acq. fee for a 3.2 A4 Prem. Plus. I'm buying out of state so sales tax and lic. were not included. How does this sound?
I was wondering if the 428.00 includes your county sales tax?
The best quote I have received for a Premium Plus Quattro (10k a year) is 459.51 a month with 1277.01 down. This consists of my first month payment, $625 Audi Bank fee, $10 in transit fee, $12.50 tire disposal fee, $45 documentation fee, $125 Ohio dmv processing fee.
I appreciate all the wonderful knowledge sharing that occurs on this forum!
You're welcome, Michelle. It's excellent that you provided this car's selling price. It is a very important number. It would be even better if you were able to provide me with this car's MSRP as well. I need both numbers to work up a lease payment on this car and the MSRP will show me how much of a dealer discount you are being given.

I sure do, infiniticp. Here you go. Audi Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 Audi A4 2.0 Sedan Prestige with quattro and 12,000 miles per year are .00071 and 47%, respectively.

Welcome audihelpp. Since you are new to leasing, you definitely should check out the following informative articles that are available here at Edmunds.com prior to visiting any dealers: 10 Steps to Leasing a New Car and Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.
While I normally advise consumers against getting pre-paid maintenance on leased vehicles, Audi Care isn't that bad a deal because Audi Financial Services provides lessees with a 1% bump in their vehicles' residual values if they get it. This residual value increase offsets much of the cost.
Shoot for a selling price that's as close to dealer invoice as possible on the A4 Premium Plus Sedan that you want and then have the dealer use AFS' buy rate lease money factor of .00071 to calculate your monthly payment.
The two most important pieces of information to focus on when negotiating a lease are your vehicle's selling price and the money factor that is being used to calculate your monthly payment. These are dealers' two main profit centers on leases. If you negotiate attractive terms on these two items everything else usually falls into place.

Hi ph0ust. Audi Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2009 A4 2.0 Avant Premium Plus with 12,000 miles per year are .00143 and 50%, respectively.

09' A4 premium plus, 2.0T, quattro, wood grain option, audi care included.
*Sell price $34,840 (MSRP, for what its worth is $38,750) *MF .00071, residual 50%, 15K miles/year, 3 year lease *upfront money is $2,150 after audi loyalty $750 ( I'm turning in an '06 A6) *monthly is $498
A dealer sent me an email today stating that audi financial sevices is offering in april $500 on a lease and $1,000 on a purchase for the A4 for those who now own or lease an '04 or newer acura, bmw, caddy, infiniti, jag, land rover, lexus, lincoln, merc-benz, saab, volvo.
hey car man, firstly great posts been following for some time a am a fan!
here is my deal not sure if its good?
2009 A4 Prem Plus 2.0L Quat MANUAL Trans with wood inlays MSRP 37,075 Cap Cost 35,470 36 months 12K per year Residual 51% Downpayment 3524.78 (750 loyality, 250 previous deposit, 2,524.78 Out of poc) Money Factor .00091 (had discussion with dealer he states that i am tier C and cannot get .00071, not sure if this is BS or not? tell me what you think)
Monthly payment: 491.42
tax in payments/downpayment (8.75%)
this is from a Long Island NY dealer?
Tell me what you think? negotiate further? fight for the Money factor? fight on the price?
The best way for you to find out what tier you qualify for would be to go to a site which lets you look at your credit score for free. There are many out there. I think that Tier A or the best level is for scores above 700 or 730.
That said, I just can't believe the difference in residuals between these and prestige models--I need all the whistles and bells--I am coming off a Japanese car (M35).
Which dealer did you work with? I might have a better recommendation.
no worries, it's all good - i know it's hard to believe that i got this deal - i called a lot of places and the price other's gave me were at least 500 to 650 a month - a lot of my friends said it was a great deal. there's only 1 female that works there in the sales department melissa deitmaring - i got the car the last week of march - maybe you should get the car the last of april - my name is Kenneth Wong and i went there with my wife - i got the 09 quattro prem plus without NAV white on beige
i got it the last week of march maybe if you go with your uncke do it the last week of april - there's only 1 female in the sales department - melissa deitmaring - good luck

A dealer here in Dallas is telling me that the residual on an 09 A4 2.0T quattro Prestige (with navigation) is 46%, not 47%. Is this accurate? I know you mentioned yesterday that the residual is 47%. They are also trying to tell me the money factor is 0.00136.
Comments
Do you have the April MF / Residual for the A4 2.0 Quattro Prestige, 36mo 12k miles? Thanks in advance.
Seems like the residuals for the A4's are generally poor but the Prestige is particularly crappy....?

at lease sign:
428.89 - first month

What region in the US is this dealer? I am looking for the same car in the NY/LI area, but all SE also have NAV (which I don't want to pay for)!
Thanks!

the guy who wrote me back was Breene Callahan, internet sales manager
Premium plus in Deep sea blue........$469 10k/ 36 months
no cap cost reduction and taxes up front etc (about 3k)
give him a call
A4 2009 Quattro Premium, Silver, Bluetooth, CD changer, HomeLink
He said he was selling it at invoice price.
$2700 down (includes all taxes, fees and 1st month payment)
$381+tax monthly (35 months)
about $18900 residual
12K miles per year
How bad is that deal? Please advice.
Does anyone else think that is somewhat high?
It kind of puts the Audi out of reach for me --TL and even C300 are leasing much better.

i am getting a variety of money factors and what seem to be terrible deals. i was wondering:
1) what are the current lease deals/rates for an a4 avant premium plus, 36 month, 12K miles/year?
2) it seems others are getting this car for around $500/month with minimal drive-offs, is that the case or am i missing something?
i am looking to keep my pre-tax monthly payment to around $500. any input/feedback is great. thanks.
