I am going to return the extended warranty within 30 days as I think I overpaid for it considering the St. Louis dealer is selling the same 8 yr/100k platinum warranty for less than 1000.
Also note that since I paid for the remote starter and mudguards on the day i bought the car, these things got included in my warranty. Although the remote starter is after market. At least this is what I was told. I am not sure how much of it is indeed true.
If you want to buy such leather seats dont pay more than 1300.
I purchased a Blizzard pearl Sienna Limited AWD with the Limited premium package (NAV and DVD), roof rail cross bars, floormats and doorsill protectors, remote start, and mudguards for $42,400 (including freight) plus tags and tax.
I also got the Platinum ($0 deductible) 8yrs/100000 miles extended warrenty for $1200. I know I could have got the warrenty from another dealer for cheaper price, but I like to see what I'm getting.
The dealer is Alexandria Toyota in Northern Virginia (DC area). The transaction was quick and relatively hassle-free. In and out the door in about three hours, including the test drive. And I like how their finance dept. never tried to sell anything else beside the extended warrenty.
-12k/year, 36 months.
- Nothing down (only 1st month payment) = $482/month (includes 8% tax, title etc etc).
Is this a reasonable deal?
Please help.
Happy Holidays!
My experience was quite different. They honored the price quoted on the phone, and did not add any additional fees (in fact, their email signature brags about no added/hidden fees).
Wappinger Falls gives good prices too. They were just a bit far from NYC.
I'm glad you had a pleasant experiance with them, but unfortuately as far as i am concerned, Westchester Toyota doesnt honor thier price match guarentee or anything. I had called them back to tell them how disappointed I was with their service. When I called, their business manager talked with me and was very polite and acted as if he would make the deal go through, We told them the only way we step foot through their door again was if they sent us a bill of sale with everything in writing. Needless to say, they sent us one with the wrong number and took days to get back to us and when we finally talked them about the wrong numbers, the sales associate had the gall to say that the business manager will purposely say anything to get the customer in the door but can't deliver the price. That is not how I want to do business. Plus, when I showed them a lower price, all they can say is that there are fees so the price will be higher, but they can't take the time to check it out.
DCH Wappingers was definitely a lot nicer, and I would actually spend the extra money if they were within a couple hundred dollars.
I called toyota and expected some results but was given the brush off "All of the dealers are independently owned operated" they just close there eyes to what the dealers are doing as long as the numbers are good.
I fear that most dealers are that way?
Ray
i cannot post the out the door price since i have a trade in but my gap is only 325
I hope this helps
The Toyota warranty I just purchased for my 2012 Sienna was the Platinum with zero deductible for 8 years/100,000 miles, $990 from Molle Toyota in Missouri.
It all seems legit. In my research, I saw another Toyota dealership is online and equally aggressive with pricing (Acton Toyota). Their prices are about $50-$100 more though.
NJ dealerships are aggressive with pricing, but they charge high doc fees since they are not regulated like NY.
The other dealership which is selling at invoice is Queenboro Toyota. Email their internet department. They give you a quote, vehicle specs, etc., and charge you no bogus fees. I was getting the car $1000 under invoice, so did not go with Queensboro Toyota. But I went in there, and they are honest people. I think the guy's name is Bruce.
Just paid $28206 for a 2012 LE v6 with security -immobilizer + carpets + roof rack crossbars and $1225 for 7yr/75k platinum 0 ded. TEC .
Comments ?
I am trying to decide on a lease before the current incentive runs out.
For 36k miles/36 months.
1. XLE, without any add-ons: With nothing down and taxes/tilte included in payment, I have an offer for 480/month , with first month's payment $480 due at signing.
2. XLE + Nav (no DVD): same assumption as above and $580/month.
Nav only is adding about $100 month.
Please advise.
Thank you.
The MSRP on the vechicle was $37820 + price for wheel locks and cargo net. Hopefully this is a good deal.
I highly recommend this particular dealer (San Francisco bay area). I will PM the details if any one needs it.
I am thinking of just buying the XLE and then add after-market items for less than 1/3 the price.
The best proce I have been given for XLE+floor mat is $32,500.
Does anyone have a dealer that will deal in the NY area?
The dealership name: Toyota Vacaville in Vacaville, CA. I am not sure how to send other details via email. Let me look around and if I find a way I will send the other details to your email.

36 Month Lease
$542 per month pmt
$2500 due at signing (also covers 1st months pmt)
$20650 residual (what I would pay if I bought it at the end of 3 years)
what do you guys think?
I would like to buy 8yr/100K platinum policy. Is the price $980?
Thanks
Here in Chicago, it snowed a few days ago. Today both of my Sienna's sliding doors got stuck half way while opening as well as closing. This is after the fact that I cleaned all snow on my car. I am not happy with this. My wife and I had to wait in below freezing weather with our baby to open the door.
I have 3 other Toyotas in my family and I am upset that my 2012 Sienna let me down today. Obviously, I will take it back to the dealer to get this fixed. But it looks like this is a common problem on Siennas. Just search it on google and you will find plenty of posts. Other than this, it has been an excellent car so far (past 1200 miles)
It is just waste time to deal with them. Just couldn’t believe they claim they are one of the best Toyota dealers in New Jersey. Do not ever want to do business with them!
I also bought from Molle, after advice by lxowner2 and it's really work. I save almost $1000.00 vs to my local TX Dealer...Go...Molle..Go
WILL PAY CASH UPFRONT. want a 2012 toyota sienna XLE with premium package & entertainment package (navigation, blue tooth, DVD, rear camera, remote door entry, etc)
the MSRP at two different dealers are $39,250 and $40,750 (minor options make up for the price difference).
1)realistically, how much should i expect dealer to come off of the MSRP?
2)Or what should be my bottom line price (not including TTL) if i am paying cash or does cash make a difference?
any insight you all can provide will help me before i go in the dealership.
Usually dealer is willing to go lower if you choose the finance option since they could earn interest from the loan.
Rebate is from toyota either a cash back or APR. Available in KS, IA, MO, NE, SD, ND states only. Must take delivery from dealer stock before Jan 31st.
