I was looking thro' the net and called toyota but they were unable to help. Over all driver seats are upgraded.

Was planning to get the AWD limited will likely get the 2011 model in next few months. Once the 2012 are out. so you can get a better deal.

Trying to decide between LE and XLE. Hate spending extra money on the XLE (don't need to have all of the other extras), but we have 2 young kids and a medium-sized, but hairy, dog so we are leaning toward leather seating. We're concerned about being able to keep the seats clean and relatively fur-free. We have leather in our cars right now so I don't know how hard/easy cloth (what does "easy clean" mean?) would be to maintain with kids/carpools/dog.
Additionally, our local dealer says 2012's arrive by 9/26 (toyota.com is also now showing Sienna 12 instead of 11). What's the best timing? Wait for a 2012 (don't buy first model year?) and maybe pay slightly more or try to hustle to get the best deal on a 2011?
    Thanks in advance!

No, No special discounts. Just the Zag.com price.

I am not sure if the LE comes with leather. I have two and we travel a lot so wanted to get the limited with AWD.

In regards to the 2011 or 12. I looked around with the honda as well. I heard a lot of complaints on the transmission. I had a accord which died due to transmission, granted i got out about 300,000 miles almost. Most of the problems with transmission started at about 100000 in the honda. So I decided to stick to the toyota and i don't think there is much change with the 2012. And since toyota is making the sienna for awhile i will take my risk with the 2011. Will get a better price i feel.

Can you post the price quotes that you get from the dealers?

    Hi

I bought new 2011 Sienna XLE AWD premimum package for $37,500 from Fremont Toyota in East Bay area. Is this a good price?

Color is South Pacific Pearl. This car looks different color in different shades.

    Total OTD is 41,300.

I started looking for a 2011 Predawn Gray base XLE without DVD or NAV about 2 weeks ago in the Northern VA, DC, MD area. However, none of our local dealers had this specific car on their lot which made it difficult to negotiate a good price. The only one on the ground within 100 miles was at a no haggle dealership and the offer was not good enough to warrant buying the 2011 (OTD at 32,300 after the 1,000 rebate). However I used this one 2011 to negotiate against other dealers on the 2012's.

Today I ended up with the following:

2012 XLE with floor mats (includes processing) $31,500
    taxes & tags $1,100
    OTD $32,600

The van will arrive this weekend with the first batch of 2012's at this dealership. I lost the 1,000 rebate but am getting the color we wanted without overpaying for a 2011. Probably could have gotten a substantially better deal on the 2011 if the wife wanted Salsa Red or South Pacific Pearl.

Don't have much to go on as far as 2012 pricing, so just curious what you guys think of this deal.

We are in the same situation. Looking for Silver XLE FWD, no NAV, no DVD in Richmond, VA area. One dealer thinks they might find a grey one (my 2nd choice).

My quote on a 2011 XLE is:
    MSRP : 34.109,00
    Sale Price : 32.000,00
    Total Tax : 1.024,00
    Processing Fees : 395,00
    Registration Fees : 60,75

Total Delivered Price: 32.479,75, then take $1K off for incentive

The did get a 2012 XLE in stock yesterday. I haven't seen it yet, but was quoted via email:

    MSRP : 34.600,00
    Sale Price : 33.500,00
    Total Tax : 1.072,00
    Processing Fees : 395,00
    Registration Fees : 60,75

    Total Delivered Price : 35.027,75

Your deal is clearly better than what I received for the 11 and the 12-- thanks for posting since I now have something to work with. :)
Am wondering if any incentives will pop up in Oct for the 12s??

I bought a brand new Sienna LE V6 FWD recently. I found there is metallic tapping, knocking engine noise from the hood when I drive (fully warmed up). Also feel this engine runs not smoothly. The noise gets louder during uphill or acceleration. The current milleage on my Sienna is 1,200 miles. Here is the video sound I took by iPHONE.
I just wondering is this sound normal or I have to bring it back to dealer soon?

I don't think dealers are giving a big enough discount on the 2011s to justify buying a car that is over a year old - unless you plan to keep it forever and don't care about resale value.

If you do, then I think it is worth ponying up for the 2012. Since the msrp pricing has not changed on most models, you should get a similar price as the 2011s, losing only the manufacturer rebate (presently 1K).

Experts say that in Nov/Dec, there will be more incentives from Toyota and Honda so they can attempt to regain their lost market share. If you can wait, I would suggest holding off until then for maybe a 0% interest financing deal on 2012s.

If you can't wait, then you should look for 6-8K off the 2011s. But somehow, dealers think their Siennas are the world's best thing and won't let them go for that much.
  • novaxlenovaxle Member Posts: 2
Your deal on the 2011 was much better than mine because I was quoted 32,300 which included the 1,000 incentive where you were at 31,400 with the incentive.
However, as the previous poster stated I don’t believe the deals on the 2011’s are not good enough to justify purchasing the 2011….just my opinion.

There is no way to tell what the incentives will be in November in December, but if you look at last year’s Toyotathon incentives there was a 1000 cash back on the Sienna but it excluded the XLE and Limited.

Right now I am debating whether or not to wait until the end of the year and see if there are any incentives on the 2012 XLE.
  • azileretsisazileretsis Member Posts: 5
I agree about the pricing. I called today to a dealer who also wouldn't budge on a 2011 in spite of the fact it was $3000 over what dealers were selling last year.

I'm going to wait for the 2012. The dealer mentioned the first one was shipped locally today.

Can someone please tell which trims have leather as standard or option, or point me to a link which does that?

    Thanks.
  • jimmibondijimmibondi Member Posts: 12
I think I have my answer. According to the following link:

    http://www.cars.com/go/compare/trimCompare.jsp?acodes=USC10TOV111A0,USC10TOV111B- - 0,USC10TOV111G0,USC10TOV111C0

the Base and LE have leather seats as an option, the SE has "leatherette" as standard, and the XLE has leather as standard.

If this is not correct, please post.

Can anyone give me quotes as to what they recently paid for a Sienna in the NY metropolitan area? I am new to buying, as I am typically a leasor, so if you could provide me with the breakdown of the various fees they charge when you buy, I'd appreciate it.
  • karun_nirukarun_niru Member Posts: 2
I Just checked, Edmunds TMV value for this car is 39100 (including 1000 incentive).
  • kacmkacm Member Posts: 5
Went to the dealer today in person. They would not budge below $32000 for the XLE (no Nav, no Ent).
Seems demand for the XLE in Silver is "high" from their perspective and since they only had 1 2012 on the lot that's as low as they would go.
Guess we'll see what happens as more 2012s appear...

i recently purchased mine at 34580 with ent. package. try truecar.com
  • ihcmik4ihcmik4 Member Posts: 2
How much did you pay for your Sienna LE? I'm looking to buy one and where did you purchase it from? Thanks.
  • lunarmistlunarmist Member Posts: 41
We purchased our LE model # 5338, sticker $31,405, for $27,620 ( price paid to dealer, including document fee and title fee) from Tarbox Toyota in North Kingston, RI.
  • ihcmik4ihcmik4 Member Posts: 2
Thanks for the information lunarmist. Looks like it's a good price. I got a quote from a dealer in PA as an internet pricing of $28,695 for a same model. I will see if I can use your number to negotiate. Thanks again.
  • lunarmistlunarmist Member Posts: 41
I was amazed by going to truecar.com and putting in different zip codes and getting a price difference of $800 from the dealers in my backyard versus those 120 miles away in Rhode Island. My local dealers couldn't even come close!!
  • madatcarmadatcar Member Posts: 6
Lunarmist, Did you buy the 2011 or 2012? And what was the price excluding the doc and title fee if you dont mind? Thanks!
  • lunarmistlunarmist Member Posts: 41
2011. We paid $27,620 ($27,400 + $200 Doc Fee + $20 Title Fee). I always negotiate the bottom line figure, the dealer can play all the games they want with the pure profit Doc Fee.
  • 3boys1dog23boys1dog2 Member Posts: 4
Lowest quote so far was for 37,443. Based on the 2011 invoice for this exact car of 35,520 seems I can do better? What would you offer?
  • citrinecitrine Member Posts: 1
Bought 2011 Sienna SE with Prefer package, Moon Roof, Floor Mat, Cross bar for $32233.96 +TTL then minus $1000 rebate.
Just read the purchase contract and found they charge $310 for Theft Deterrent Devices which wasn't aware or acknowledge at time of signing.
optional DMV electronic Filing Fee $29
    License Fee $210
    Registration $110
    Document Preparation Fee $55
    California Tire Fees $8.75
Please let me know how to get dealer to refund of $310 & $29?
    Thanks

Can you all give me an idea- in terms of percentage- what kind of discount y'all have received on the your quotes for 2012 Sienna? I just spent some time at a dealer looking at a Sienna Limited w/ performance package, remote starter & mud mats and was quoted a discount of 1%. This is after asking for their "best price." When he gave me that number I told them to call me when they were serious about selling a car and opted out of the test drive.

Time to expand our search to greater new england.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

2012 XLE AWD with entertainment package (without navigation) best quote I got was $36,500. I got various quotes from multiple dealers such as $37,149 and not willing to budge and $37,000. According to edmunds and consumer reports the 36,500 is below true market value in my area. I'm in SE PA.

In SF Bay area, those dealers think their Sienna are the best van in the world.
You won't be surprised that other people in this forum had much better price in other states.
$31508 out-the -door, the best quote I can get for a 2012 LE model #5338
    3T - Cargo Cross Bars
CF - Carpet Floor Mats & Door Sill Protectors
    PN - Anti-Theft System w/Engine Immobilizer
  • quizzerquizzer Member Posts: 14
31.5K sounds too expensive for the LE model.
  • mac718mac718 Member Posts: 2
Thx for info. I'm in the Chicagoland area & have started looking at the XLE. Does that include a moonroof? My guess is you opted for the 8-passenger. True? Did you negotiate online?
  • calltentencalltenten Member Posts: 3
I forgot to say I only checked dealers in SF south bay area.
To get a better price, it absolutely needs to expand the searching range to north bay or somewhere else.
    What is your best quote?

Purchased a new 2011 Sienna LE V6 less than 10 miles on it about 10 days ago with TOWING PKG (TO), WHEEL LOCKS (WL-1) & CARPET FLOOR MATS W/DOOR SILL PROTECTORS (CF-1).

paid $26,895 (includes $810 destination, all option installed & $1000 rebate)

Out the door price $29K (include everything selling price, rebate, tax, title/tag, doc fee, destination, installed option)

Maryland resident and i had my own financing at 1.99% for 72 months from my credit union.

    Thank you
  • domikdomik Member Posts: 3
You've got great deal on financing!! What is the name of your credit union?
  • lxowner2lxowner2 Member Posts: 51
I am in the market for the same vehicle (2012 model 5386), with similar options, and on the ones stickered at $46K, I am getting quotes around $43K. Much better than 1%, more like 6-7%. Invoice on these cars are about $42.5, so you should start at invoice and they should jump at $500 over invoice.

Try Sunnyvale Toyota Internet Sales Department. I got a quote for $28,988 on a LE. They are good people to talk to. We are now considering Odyssey or else we would have move forward with Sunnyvale Toyota.
  • quizzerquizzer Member Posts: 14
Is the 28988 OTD price for the LE?
  • calltentencalltenten Member Posts: 3
    Thanks for your information.

    If it's a LE V6 8-passenger model #5338, $28988 --> $31780 out-the-door
  • mmggmmgg Member Posts: 7
The XLE includes moonroof , leather seat. We went for a test drive today (Chicago suburb). The engine was louder than I expected, and the transmission wasn't as smooth as a sedan, but very easy to maneuver. We're given quote of $31XXX +TTL = $342XX OTD for 2012 XLE base model. Good deal ???
  • ldanldan Member Posts: 12
K, Thanks for all that have posted some numbers as they do help quiet a bit.
here is what we paid for XLE from last night. could've been better but figure this was good enough.
    32600+TTL
11500 trade in. ($500 over kbb)

    Good luck
  • jmass3jmass3 Member Posts: 3
Was the $32,600 for a base XLE? I'm looking at a new 2011 XLE with Entertainment package and Navigation and they quoted $36,400 + TTL. This is including a $1000 Toyota rebate and a $300 discount for being a CostCo member. (In Dallas area)
  • blumeanyblumeany Member Posts: 1
Bought mine in the Chicago area. 2011 Toyota Sienna LE. Incl. mats, tow prep, and alarm.

Got the $1000 rebate, plus dealer was able to get 2.09% financing which was .4% less than my credit union.

    Car price: $27000 (includes rebate)
    OTD: $29,273
  • ldanldan Member Posts: 12
yes 32,600 was for the base XLE. but it is 2012 not 2011. so the 1000 rebate does not apply here. they bumped the trade in up 500. so if you are buying without trade in. it would be 32100. :-) stick to your guns. even if your offer to them seems outrages, you never know.
  • txdriver3txdriver3 Member Posts: 1
quoted 33,100 + TTL is that too high? base xle no nav, no entertainment?
