I was in El Paso TX over the weekend. Saw two XG300's on the lot of the local Hundai dealer. So I stopped and took a look.

Much to my surprise...there was $995 added to the msrp with no explanation as to what it was for. The salesman told me that the car is in very short supply so "they have to" add the extra money to the price.

I told him "I certainly hope that you get it" and left.

I know...my audacity equalled the dealer's audacity...but it is my money that they want.

They were supposed to start coming through with 16"
wheels on 1-1-01.My local dealer has all 15",and denies available 16" coming,I think because he has about 15 in stock he wants to sell first.I plan to
buy one in March,So I will try to have him get one
from the pool. To you in Ariz.,this dealer is Valley Hyundai,in Henderson,NV. Also he gives free 24,000
    or 24 month free oil changes,Freon replacement,tire rotating,windshield wiper replacement,etc.All you
    pay for is gas.

Sirwinston4: Have no problem with the heated seats on mine. L models seem to be more scarce.
Sorry, but the doors do not lock automatically when moving. I personally do not find this a disadvantage, but I can see where this feature might be nice.

15" vs. 16" wheels: Would also be curious to know if anyone has seen the new wheels that are supposedly coming.

Price: It's supply and demand. Was able to get mine for a reasonably low percentage over invoice.

Doesn't the keyless entry/alarm system have a setting for this? I know the factory system for the Sonata does.

    Hi,

Thank you folks for the great information.
I think XG is a good one and want to buy one for myself.

Has anyone in SF Bay area bought an XG ?
What was your price paid ?

If you know a good Hyundai dealorships in the Bay area, please recommend.

Astrol - tried the key fob button to lock the doors while in the car with the engine running. It works fine but is not recommended in the owners manual because it arms the alarm system. If you do not use the key fob to unlock/disarm the alarm, it sounds when you open the doors.

This is probably not what you were referring to.

It would be nice if the doors would lock by themselves when the car speed exceeds a few mph. As far as I can tell, this is not a feature on the XG300. Maybe if enough potential customers wanted it ..... are you listening Hyundai?

A few other (hopefully helpful) observations:

    - not to get into a big debate on gasoline brands, but my XG likes Amoco 93 octane

    - in the icy weather we've been having in the Mid west lately, the car feels a bit more stable with tire pressures around 34- 35 front, 30 rear.

Bob here, manager at a Hyundai dealer in Ohio. 16" tires and wheels are ,last I heard, are supposed to start with Feb. production. That means appox. April delivery to the dealers. I haven't seen the wheel yet, but IMHO,it has to be an improvement! Bob

What does the XG300's owner's manual say in regard to fuel? Does it recommend 87 or higher? 89 or higher? 91 or higher? I'm guessing it is like my '00 2.5L V-6 which recommends 87 or higher. The oil companies will love you all the way to the bank, but I don't like your engine really cares if you use higher than recommended octane. :)

    Hello---
I find it strange that Hyundai would use a different Keyless/Alarm system for the XG300 than the one offered in the Sonata GLS. My wifes' '00 GLS has a toggle switch mounted down near the drivers' outer kick panel. You simply turn the key to the On position and cycle the toggle switch to select the settings you wish. She currently uses the door lock upon ignition key start and the driver door only unlock upon ignition key off. (for anti-car-jacking)
If your XG300 literature does not contain the settings for these and other entry/alarm options, I will gladly post them.
  • shopper10shopper10 Member Posts: 14
    Giowa,

The recommended octane from the owner's manual is pump octane 87 (research octane 91). I have tried only a couple of different brands and octane ratings, and find, somewhat to my surprise, that what I thought were inconsequential differences in the relative warmth of November have become much more evident in the chill of winter. My guess is when the weather warms up, mid-grade gasoline will work just fine, but for now, I'm taking no chances.
  • shopper10shopper10 Member Posts: 14
    Astrol,

The XG300 owner's manual does not mention the toggle switch and the ability to cycle through door locking options such as you describe. It would sure be nice to discover that the XG has this feature as well, even if un-documented. Could you be more specific about the location and appearance of the switch? Took a quick look around the driver's side foot well and didn't see anything obvious.
  • astrolastrol Member Posts: 312
Bearing in mind that it is possible that Hyundai has elected to use a completely different system and/or the installer of yours has chosen a different location than mine---here goes:

Under the Drivers dash there should be an accessory fuse panel located on the firewall or perhaps to the left on the drivers' outer kick panel. This is the area that you should check. It is a simple toggle switch (up/down) that on the GLS is found protruding neatly from the outer kick panel. That is all that there is to see. Also, the adjuster for the alarm sensitivity is mounted under the steering column facing down. It is a small box with a simple turn adjuster similar to the switch on a utility lamp but with no clicks.

I have the feeling that you may be missing some tech paper for your entry/alarm system. What does the manual say about the Valet setting? Surely your system would have a control for this as all alarm systems do and this is the very toggle switch I am describing. If the manual to which you refer does not mention the Valet setting then you are most definitely out some tech literature.

In the event you locate the toggle switch and our entry/alarms are the same system, here is what you may find:
Place the key in ignition and turn to On position.
Feature-- Factory Setting-- # of toggles
    Passive Self-arming-- Off-- 4
    Passive Self-locking-- Off-- 5
    Long-Term Chirp Mute-- Off-- 6
    Ignition-Activated
    Lock/Unlock-- Off-- 9
    False Alarm Prevention On 12
    Add new Remote Button #1 --- 13
    " " " " #2 --- 14
    " " " " #1+#2 (Silent) --- 15
    Erase All Remotes --- 19

All program changes will give confirmation chirps: 1=Off 2=On
    Also:
    Button #1 changes =1 chirp
    " #2 changes =2 chirp
    " #1+#2 changes =3 chirp
    Erase all remotes =2 chirp

It may well be that owing to the Luxury aspect of the XG300, Hyundai might have instituted an easier system for alarm/entry control, perhaps even limited to the key fob itself. As the fob for the XG is a three button (I'm assuming one is for the trunk, the data supplied above may not be of any use. But hey, it's worth a shot.
Sorry for the EXTREMELY long post but there is no shorthand for this kind of thing.
  • shopper10shopper10 Member Posts: 14
Astrol - thanks for writing about the alarm system on your wife's Sonata GLS. We are comparing two different systems here, as I have none of the components you describe. It seems quite likely that what you are describing is an add-on to the stock GLS, which seems to fit your needs quite nicely. For my part, I'm happy with the existing XG300 system that came stock with the car. It was interesting, though, to read your post and note the number of different options available on your system.

    Happy motoring!

Best price I could haggle on300 with moonroof,is
    $23,910.00.Net I/I St&l. Exactly $500.00 more than
    TMV.But,this dealer includes 24 month,24,000 mint
free. You pay for gas only during this period. Even
    includes brakes,I/wipers,oil filters,belts,wheel balance,alignments,Freon,and more. My original offer was$22,800.00,and they didn't even consider it.This
dealer has at least 30 in stock.

    Shopper10,

Sorry it was of no help...however...the security upgrade to the keyless is still a Hyundai system which is installed as a PIO. The thing that perplexes me about the XG300 system is there is no mention of a valet setting. I have never known an alarm system not to have one. If I were you I would inquire further.

    Still---Happy Motoring back at ya!

John115 - Just wondering, was that price for a base or the I model. The reason I ask is because two dealers in the Memphis area have in the past weeks advertised the base model in the paper for $21,9??. I was kind of waiting on the models to come out with the 16 inch tires and was planning on offering $23,000 for the I model. One of these two dealers even advertised the base model at under $21,000 a few weeks back but I think that this was perhaps a deceptive price and oddly enough the dealership was sold to a new owner just days later.

I went to my local dealer yesterday and really fell in love with the XG300L. But I'm concerned because I don't think they have any service plan at all. I'm sorry no check ups.... for a dentist that doesn't compute. How can you get any customer satisfaction? What type of service plans are people getting outside of my shelled up community. Are you paying for one or the extended warrantee?
Currently, wife owns a Passat GLX. Now the torque feels more substantial on the GLX, but I actually liked the suspension on G. Very impressed! They also had the 15" tires with thoughs grandpa rims. Guess I'll wait to see the 16 inch tires and hope for new style on rims.
Just for kicks, I brought my friend in at night to see the car. He was definitely hesitant but somewhat impressed. His view was the exterior said small continental or town car... in other words "gramps". I think he was somewhat impressed with the interior. He really didn't care to drive it which tells me it has too much of a stigma for him. We then went to drive the Lincoln LS. Quality is definately there in that car. Maybe I need to wait to the T-bird, but touche Hyundai, I'm intrigued.
By the way, thanks everyone for their posts, very informative group and not to many complaints yet. I remember following the S80 for a long time and you truely could see some bugs going on. That car...again on a different level.

I am a manager at a Hyundai dealer in Ohio and it is quite possible to sell a XG300 for $21995.00. Thats about $400.00 over invoice. Also, there is a $1500.00 rebate ONLY available to current Hyundai owners, whether you trade your current Hyundai or not.Read the fine print in the ad to make sure that its not after this rebate.Advertising laws vary from state to state,so I am not sure what they are in your state. When you mean service plan, are you talking something that covers routine maintenance items (LOF, tire rotates, etc.)? Or are you talking getting loaner cars when getting service or warranty work done? I think the Hyundai Extended Service plan will extend your warranty and get you loaner transportation. Not aware of any Hyundai plan to pay for routine maintenance. I have never understood buying a plan to pay for routine items you have to do.

Keep in mind that Hyundai's warranty is significantly better than VW's. VW has the worst bumper-to-bumper in the industry. 2/24 vs. Hyundai's 5/60. And their powertrain warranties are similar.

You mentioned the Lincoln LS. I drive both a '00 LS8 Sport and a '00 Hyundai Sonata, Pkg 13--loaded w/leather, sunroof, etc. I spent a lot of time at the recent Omaha Auto Show pouring over the XG300 and 300L. I liked what I saw. But if you have reservations, you might consider a new LS6 (which can be bought in Omaha area for about $29-31K) or a used LS8. It is a great RWD luxury sport sedan.

My husband and I just drove an XG300L and were really surprised. Hyundai??? We would have never considered it but were drawn by the outside styling. We are both over 6' and were very impressed with the inside front leg room. That's probably all we will need since the kids are grown and gone. BUT we would like to see a bigger engine, larger tires, daytime running lights, and some way for the doors to auto lock when taking off. We currently have a 94 LHS which we have affectionally named the "death car" after having the third rack installed (the second one leaving me with a complete loss of steering). Recognizing the seriousness of this problem, D-C actually paid for the part even though the car was well out of warranty. Needless to say we have no confidence in Chrysler.

I have been reading that there will be some improvements in engine size next year and tire size in the next few months.

I also know that for some foreign made vehicles, there are ways to buy them overseas and get better deals on them. What are the chances that our son, an Army Captain who will be reporting to Korea for a year of duty in June, can do a deal there and have the car shipped home when he comes back? I know those deals can be done on Mercedes and BMWs but don't know about the "rice" cars.

Any information you can give me would be appreciated.
  • bluewindsbluewinds Member Posts: 100
At first, your son can buy XG300 in Korea at discounted price(it is duty free price) and whole bunch of standard features which can't be offered to U.S model XG300. However, there are lots of differences between Korean version and U.S version model.

Head light setting and emission system is different. It will be important problem when your son returns to America with Korean version XG300. Also if ECS(Electric controlled suspension)and several specific parts which are not offered for U.S version XG300 have problems, your son can't get dealer services in America. HMA(Hyundai Motor America)doesn't have spare parts.

Even I heard that this model can't be warranted by HMA. However, I don't know if your son can buy U.S version model in Korea from Hyundai factory.

That's all I know. Hope to be useful......
  • rmellisrmellis Member Posts: 8
I kind of figured that you don't get routine service, I guess I was hoping that other dealers were giving routine maintenance checks for the first 20k or so.
Next question is whether or not anyone has seen some type of subsidized loans ie 0.9-4.9% financing. I looked it up here but didn't see anything. I guess the car is to new and in the euphoric high sales stage. I'd love to see interesting articles about national numbers on sales, trends, safety figures. Any good links out there. Time to look up Yahoo finance and the fool! I think it's the NHSTA for safety reviews. Links, links, please!

It's not a XG300 but at least the Sonata got good reviews on side impact.

    Hello
Very informative board. Looking at XG (waiting for hip replacement to heal). Am a dedicated shifter (25+ years) but recent medical situation rules out clutch..therefore very interested in XG and shiftronic. Have following concerns/questions:
    1. Not a racer but am concerned with torque numbers...is it sufficient for ramp merge and passing? (recognize this is somewhat subjective).
    2. Is there a discernable lag between gear selection and power delivery in new gear? Drove a Lincoln LS before surgery and the lag was in my opinion almost dangerous.
    3. In manual mode does every gear have to be selected...i.e. no automatic upshifts ala acura 1 to 2 automatic upshift or saftey override if redlined. Also can 1rst gear be selected while on a slow move (i.e downshift at 5MPH).
    4. Recent review in Washington Post (I am in Maryland) gave a very favorable review....Except for brakes (said needed strong and constant pressure)....Any comments?
Finally, my credit union (via United Buying Service) is quoting a price of $22,296.00 for XG (This includes cost of car and freight)..Comments appreciated. Thanks in advance and apologize for the long post
    regards

I've now got 5000 miles on my XG300 base and have been pretty pleased with this vehicle.

The only problem that I've had is that the intermittent wipers sometimes decide on their own to upshift to a faster stroke. No doubt some kind of dohickey needs to be swapped out. Had the problem since I got the car, but it's the only glitch I've had. Certaintly can't complain about that kind of initial quality and I'm going to have it looked at during my 7500 mile oil change.

    novotny_jack:

I find that the torque is more than adequate for any maneuver I do at speed. I drive in Atlanta which has a lot of hills and sloped on ramps and most of the time I don't even have to punch down to have the vehicle briskly and smoothly accelerate ( a review I read somewhere says that the car doesn't accelerate but rather builds momentum, I'd qualify that to say that it builds momentum quickly). I rarely have the kickdown lurch that I used to experience with my last vehicle (a 4 banger), and still manage to pull out in front of most traffic from a stop. That said, this is no racer.

There is a lag between pushing down on the pedal and getting a downshift or shifting up or down in manual mode. Not severe but definately perceptable. I've used the manual mode mostly while creeping along in long lines of cars (Atlanta has really bad traffic problems). Typically I toggle between first and second gear so I don't have to keep hittiing my brakes. I haven't pushed the limits with the manual mode so I can't much other insight here except that I've never experienced an automatic upshift while in manual mode.

I've perceived no issues with the brakes. The opposite of strong and constant pressure is overly touchy. My personal view is that the brakes perform well, I've never really noticed anything about their behavior. I'm long legged and have lots of leverage so perhaps I'm biased in favor of the brakes as they are.

In 3 months I've only seen one other XG3000 on the road. Looked like they were going to a business lunch so the vehicle definately competes with the Lincoln LS in that department, I'm a geek who goes to work in blue jeans and so that kind of image was secondary to me. I was looking for quite competence and the XG300 definately fits there. I could have bought a more expensive car but I figure the money I saved will see me thru two more computer upgrades :)

I kind of like the car's profile. It's certaintly no more stodgey than an Infinity or Lincoln LS. I do wish the suspension was not quite as soft, but I definately don't feel like I'm driving my grandfathers car, my fathers car perhaps (I'm 44 after all). I think the XG300 has a lot of class.

Finally, I don't know what all the fuss about the tire rims is. I like them :)

    Hope this helps.

If you folks care to check auto.com there is a review of the new XG300 written by one of their staff folks. It didn't seem too biased although it didn't hesitate to give credit to the strengths and highlight the areas needing improvement.
  • bri70bri70 Member Posts: 147
Actually the was a pretty negative review. The most negative review I have seen of the XG300.

After reading that, why would anyone consider the XG?
  • bassguydavebassguydave Member Posts: 1
I thought the whole tone of the Auto.com review was rather negative as well.

The review suggested by netranger4 at auto.com can be summed up in very few words. The reviewer doesn't like the XG300 because it's not: a) a Camry V-6; b) an Accord V-6; c) it smells.

How much do these clowns get paid? If this moron had done an ounce of research, he would have discovered by now that Hyundai sprays a coating on the car undersides to ward off the effects of salt air exposure during transit and port storage.
The smell goes away within a few weeks, at most.

    I want this A-holes job.

What is the diff. between the L and XG 300 other than the steering wheel and the sunroof?

I drove one today and I know car sales people are trained to look for the glazed over look in the customer eye and I had it.

Guess I should have worn sunglasses @ night...!! I wasn't expecting to like the car as much as I did. I went to look at a sonata ..didn't even know they had this product...!!

    Now I'm hooked...But then again I am their target market. 42 y.o. etc.etc..

I like 98 % of what I saw. That is more than I can say about most I've looked at. Price included....

In two weeks I will own an L ...unless someone talks me out of it....The sales manager said this vehicle has been in production overseas for about 4 years.

Then when I asked about 2002 being changed , he said it is a new model so that wont happen...huh??

2 diff. answers to virtually the same questiion . Maybe I should shop for another dealer.

He quoted me an L for 23,900 with cd changer..black on black..is this a winner?

    I don't need a cd changer..I guess I could delete?

    N e input would b apprectiated b4 I take the plunge...
  • astrolastrol Member Posts: 312
That is a great price! I assume you are not a former/present Hyundai owner and are therefore not receiving the $1500 Loyalty rebate.

Wow! An L (differentiated by the std. moonroof, heated seats, memory seating, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear lighting and wood insert wheel) lists for just under $26000 with the CD changer. Some are paying what you were quoted for the non-L simply due to demand.

The explanation for the apparent contradiction lies in the fact that this vehicle has been sold for several years in the home market as the Grandeur. I believe it received a freshening before it was brought to the USA. It is old there---new here.

There is a distinct possibility that this car will be substantially reworked for the American market. The Hyundai California design studio has plans to remove the formal, somewhat stodgy appearance which is the cat's meow in Korea. If this would be of any concern you would do well to read the previous postings under this topic. It doesn't take that long.
  • bluewindsbluewinds Member Posts: 100
XG 300's model has been fully changed every 6~7 years in Korea. And to debug every flaw before it exports products to America, Hyundai usually spends 6months to 2yers. To tell the truth, we Korean had driven 'Beta version of XG series' at least for one year. So, don't worry about full model change.
  • in2dadarkin2dadark Member Posts: 18
Thanks for the input. I just need to dump my 95 blazer and go get it. Easier said than done. Ne way I think the price is ok as well .

They have a buffing ad on and hand painted pinstripes as well I am going without those and cd changer . I think they will deal this car here more readily cause locals don't embrace change as quickly as say might in S. Fla ( where I lived last year ) or as they might in more 'progressive areas'(defined almost n e where but here).I should b at 22,900 without all that other noise. I have read the past threads , but don't remember seeing mention of plans for a redesign already.

People pay what they do for a VW with the reputation they used to have (as someone has mentioned b 4), why not a Hyundai?

My father spent countless hours working on his old beetles and then would sell them. Seems like he worked on em alot...

appreciate your quick reply and thoughtful insights. I look forward to healing in about 6 weeks then going out, test the cars and buy. Have narrowed selection down to XG and Acura 3.2TL!!(never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be mentioning those two brands in the same breath). Interestingly up here in MD it is the acura dealers who are discounting and the Hyundai dealers (I stopped at two on Sunday) who are adding "Adjusted dealer mark-Up " of $995.00 and appearance packages (alleged paint sealant, pin stripes and dooredge guards for $795.00) If this continues the acura may win by default as the better deal. Anyway I digress...thanks again for the info

If you go over a certain set speed threshold, the interval is supposed to decrease gradually relative to the car speed.
  • netranger4netranger4 Member Posts: 149
After re-reading the review on the XG300, some negativity does show through. Since I live close to the Detroit Metro Area and have friends in the motor companies, I called one to discuss some of the reviews and swap rumors. The latest joke around the Big 3 is that trucks have been seen around executive office buildings delivering incontinency pads in large quantity. Wonder who's getting the largest amount? Korean cars in general and Hyundai in particular have caused
an increase in demand apparently. Also spotted were several Hyundai models at one major mfgr. Presumably for testing purposes. Gotta keep up with the competition you know.

giowa is correct, your Town Hall Terms of Use prevent you from advertising your car for sale here. However, you can check out Edmunds.com Marketplace if you'd like. You can post a "for sale" message there.

I just stumbled into this area the other day and have enjoyed everyones comments about the XG300. I have had mine now for just a week less than a month and will be making my first loan payment on it. I had no intentions of buying this car I was just out looking for cars with my nephew and fell in love with it. I'm 50 and my nephew is 24 we were looking at the Santa Fe and I got sidetracked with the Ivory Pearl one the show room.
Anyway I bought the thing without even driving it.
It's a regular XG300 with the delete of the auto air with a sunroof. Sticker was 24,262 with floor mats. Not sure if the deal was great or not
seeing I traded in my 98 Ford Ranger but the money difference was 13k. I was satisfied. The dealer doesn't mark them up or add stuff on either. I guess that they are just too big to be playing around since they are a multi brand dealer
( Pot, Old, GMC, Cad, Suzuki, Infiniti, Isuzu, Saturn and Hyundai) high volume quick sale kind of place. Anyway I didn't have any fears in buying it figuring that I had drove a Sonata around for a month while on assignment in California and loved it and the XG300 being bigger
would be that much more to love. Since taking delivery I decided to research the car ( nice timing ) and have been very pleased with the results. This sight has been the best since it is from an owners point of view. So thanks to all for your comments and experiences. So far no problems, it took a few days to find the right sitting position. My wife wasn't too thrilled since I was saving up to buy a Mercedes C-240 but now she keeps taking the XG300 and sticks me with the Jimmy. She's already put a scratch on it from a curb on the front but such is life. Look forward to seeing more posts of stories. To all who are wanting to buy one, my reccomendation is
go for it you'll love it.....

You made the right choice. I'm very familiar with the Sonata also. You can take that extra $$$$ you saved instead of buying the MB C-240 and drive your XG on a few road trips. Enjoy!!

when i first saw the XG I thought: HIDEOUS!

But, I saw a white/cream metallic one in Key West and it looked quite nice. My favorite thing? The side mirrors are the ones that don't look connected to the window, they look attached to the door. That always makes me think "expensive"... I also like the chrome treatment. Almost a little obnoxious, but not quite. Just right.

XG300L Hell of a car. People I just spent about 4 month's looking at everything under the sun. I have heard the spin from one to the other. I am 44 and have owned 36 cars Ten new. I have just bought a XG300L and I love it. I spent alot of that time because everyone from friends to my insurance agent said don't buy the car I bought. I went, I drove, I heard, and I'm tired of B.S. I sat down with my wife and looked at everything available. The bottom line is do what I did. The hell with everyone, trust your own judgment. Take the damn thing out and be honest with your self and then decide. That's what I did. I have never been a follower. This is a damn good car. I bought mind for 200 under invoice and there where many takers here in Chicago at that price. What they didn't know I was a mechanic for 8 Years and know in my heart this is a great car. I would have spent more. I can sit here and fill a page of why. I think all of you can do that for yourself. I just say sit in the back seat and look at the warrentee and compare. Trust your heart and the hell with everyone who scared of there own shadow, Remember " opportunities are never lost they are only taken by other's" Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else having any problems with the auto function not working on the seat not retracting or returning to memory setting, when the key in the ignition switch is put in or pulled out?
Also, can anyone get their radio on FM to go lower than 87.9?
Other than that I do love my new car.
    Thanks Mick

The fairly common failure of the auto function on the xg300L seat memory utility results from inadequate owners manual instructions, rather than any component failure. First of all, the auto button must be pressed, so that the indicator light is on. Then, after the car has been driven and is parked, it is necessary to set the emergency brake, before turning off the ignition with the key. Removing the key will than cause the seat to retract to the most rearward position. Be sure to insert the key to operate the car again, before releasing the emergency brake. When the key is first inserted into the ignition lock, the seat will move forward to the last preset position. Then the emergency brake can be released, before driving the car. Hyundai failed to mention any of this in their xg300L owners manual. A recent service bulletin covering this subject was issued by Hyundai.

As others are remarking, the XG 300 is quite an automobile. I too researched for months. New and slightly used "near luxury" vehicles of vitually every manufacturer. With all that the XG offers, on top of the warranty and the price (paid 500 under invoice) it truly was a no brainer!
My only problem has been an occasional rough transition from 2nd to 3rd gear during medium acceleration. I am sure this is correctable.
    Great car..!

Just was looking at the Hyundai Korean site and was looking at one of their other models that they have available for the European market. Looks like a cross between a LS400 and an alder Mercedes, but then of course the LS400 looks like an old Mercedes. Anyway it doesn't look all that bad looks a little dated. But if it's priced the way they priced the XG300 I may trade in my X. for one. Here's the link address......

john0--- it's the model being offered aside from the XG300... it's "like" a mini limo in korea.. where the owners are driven around.... but i think Hyundai North america will be offering it in the near future along with the XG300...(i'll be trading my car up to that if they do) ^_^

HOST --- sorry if everyone here thought i was advertising... b/c i wasn't... i was just posting a site where people curious about what the canadian spec Xg300 look liked could go to look ..

and yes.. i'm a owner of a Canadian spec 2001 XG300 White pearl...

currently it's my everyday driver project.. ^_^
on hand.. i have the front strut bar.. getting the rear ones soon.. 18" wheels on hand..
white face guage overlay... and "grandeur" rear garnish..
this summer i'll be working on the suspension and will be importing a body kit from korea..

    hope to keep everyone informed..

    CHEERS~!
