    I am in the process of negotiating. The dealer I am working with shows a 'Doc Fee' of $599 and an 'Acquisition Fee' of $625. How concerned should I be about these and do I have leverage to get them removed? They are rolling them into the monthly payment and it's driving the payment way, way up......

    The acquisition fee is mandated by the bank; nothing you can do about it.

    Doc fee is imposed by the dealer; you can try to mitigate that cost by negotiating a lower selling price to offset.

    24/15 4 door golf - 57%
    24/15 4 door golf tdi - 63%
    both are .00060

    Are these numbers different for the sport wagon?

    Those numbers are correct.. also, $750 lease cash on the 4-door gas model.

    Hi there! Saw a lot of 2015 Golf numbers for May here, but nothing for the eGolf. Could you please provide the RV and MF for the 2015 eGolf on a 36 month/12k per year lease? I'm located in So Cal. I suspect there are no incentives like lease cash for these.

    I know there's a manufacturer deal for the eGolf Limited edition (2349 down/229 per month), but I'm interested in the SEL and wanted to check the numbers on it.

    Part of me is kicking myself for not actually looking at leasing instead of purchasing. Looks like I'll be driving about 13k/year so not sure if in fact I made the right decision. I do love my Golf, a lot, but after seeing the new Honda HR-V yesterday, think I found something almost as nice as the Golf...never thought I'd say that about any new Honda but I think this new vehicle is going to surprise a lot of folks. We've never leased before so didn't think much about it especially with driving about 13k each year now. One never knows what might happen a few years down the road though. Right now, my Golf is over at the VW service department because the EPC light came on and the interior lights won't go out except by locking the vehicle. They gave me a loaner and said they'd need some time to figure out the issues going on. Since cars are just machines, things are bound to go wrong so just taking things in stride here.

    No - 10k is the lowest number of miles you can have on a VW lease.

    No - 10k is the lowest number of miles you can have on a VW lease.
    Thank you very much for your response. That is great to know. Still can't figure out the low residual but it is what it is.
    Lots of companies inflate the residual to artificially lower the payment. VW isn't one of them.
