BTW, I mentioned the the salesperson that I didn't think doc fees should be more than 100 and he said that was something that could be adjusted to earn my business. Interesting!!!
Also samsclub.com
Thanks,
Tom
PS Doc fee of $499 is just stupid.
Your phone number is required but in my case, I specifically stated "no calls" in the additional comments (but some still called). I then corresponded with dealer's internet sales departements via emails.
I had test driven the car before all this.
Most dealers won't give you the bottom line in first email (and some won't at all). Only a couple of them provided me their bottom line price. I went to the dealer with the lowest bid and negotiated $350 below the quoted price.
Deputy Fee: 5.00
LIcense/Transfer: 103
State Inspection: 21.75
Documentary Fee: 50
Dealers Inventory: 63
7 year/80k Warranty: 1140
Hope this helps
Thanks!
my father's company basically gets the cars for invoice automatically... plus whatever incentives are out there... so if I can find an EX it should be 24,124 or EX-L 26,293. (with 2500 off) Are these good prices or should I try to negotiate further I am trying to figure out how I should go about this because there is not much out there left, so I can really do the mass e-mail thing.. I have looked online at the area's inventory and there are a lot more EX-L's than anything. What would you suggest???
If I knew for a fact that the 2500 was on 2008 as well, I may consider that, but the dealer I talked to (to get my father's price) said it was only on 2007???
thanks!
If you dealt with any salesperson then please let me know.
Thanks
Does the $30,036 + tax include destination and any accessories? Which state/city are you in? So far the best quote in the greater seattle area is 30,600 which only includes base and destination. Accessories, tax (9.2%), doc fee, and registration are extra.
How did I do ? BTW I used the donkeypunch method for almost a week and got this deal.....Thanks donkeypunch
Color : Ocean Mist Metallic
The dealer is J.L.FREED Honda in Lansdale, PA
The only reason I trust the source is Automotive News is really the serious business periodical for the industry - tracking sales trends, production and incentives. So I am hoping they have it right.
I wonder if they will start to do something soon as Toyota is doing 0% right now for 36 months and 2.9 for 60.
Appreciate if you can give me salesperson name, I am also in PA & this is a good price
Thanks
Congrats and excellent job getting that price. Can you please tell me the name of salesperson at JL Freed. My email is zeeman69(AT)comcast(DotNet)
Thanks
Thank you
I have received a out the door price of $36,878.00 price for 2008 Ody, Touring without PAX. The dealer is giving wheel locks, mats, mudguards, 1 year free oil change, life long free state inspection. Is this a good deal?
Yours,
Murmal.
I have a quote from a dealer in SoCal:
"Your prices for the 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL W/DVD is $27,995.00 and with DVD & NAV is $29,995.00 plus tax and license. The 2008 Honda Odyssey EXL W/DVD is $30,495.00 and with DVD & NAV is $32,295.00 plus tax and license."
Also, based on a quick scan of the last few pages of this forum thread, I created a quick gmail account and requested quotes from dealerships within about 100 miles from me (I'm in the middle of nowhere; have to drive at least an hour no matter what).
Am awaiting insurance information on the payout for my van, but we already have loan approval. I'd appreciate knowing if the above prices are good, or if there's a chance we can do better. I'm primarily interested in a 2008 EX-L with RES and w/wo NAV, but I'd really prefer a Touring. I absolutely need 8-passenger seating.
TIA.
Thanks!
I'm in southern NJ. Do these offers look like rock bottom, or is there still some wiggle room? Let's hear it for cut-rate Odyssey's!
