If you've been trying to order embroidered shirts but haven't been able to get to the site, try it again now.
Also, pics of the Rogormobile are now available for public viewing in the Town Hall 300M Club Photo Gallery.
You can find out the day your car was built. Just have the dealer put in the VIN number in their computer. The day, date etc. will show up.

I always liked the looks of the chrome razorstars better.
What tires did they use...the Michelin MXM V4s?
The only thing I wished they would do is some sort of PHP/PHG badging...for $500 you should get something visible now that all the 300M wheels are the same!
An actual badge would be nice, as long as it doesn't date the car like the "4 wheel disc brakes" or "ABS" badges do. Might as well say "Steering wheel".
Someone has way too much time on their hands!
Any other prospective adoptees may apply at http://www.300mclub.org. Be sure to check out our embroidered logo shirts while you're there.

Heads up for everyone. I had been using a wet towel and/or Z6 to spot clean my car, thinking that a soft towel and the fluid would work nicely. Tonight under the lights of a gas station I saw just how much scratching I put in the paint doing this. My advice... wash your cars with a hose and a sponge...no shortcuts!

I think I know the answer but I'd like to confirm before ordering. Thanks.
Intrepidspirit: no separate mens and women's sizes, just the generic unisex sizing you usually find with T-shirts, etc. How many did you need?
Roger, you sound like a salesman! I'm starting to feel the pressure already...I don't know how many I need yet. My wife and I will look at them over the next 24 hours and order...I'll let you know as soon as we decide!
By the way, they look nice...something like the Land's End shirts we get for our Company...
I have 4 coats of Z-2 on the 2000 and 3 coats on the 2001. I also had 3 coats on the Intrepid that I turned in...but I think I'm still on my first bottle of Z-2! That stuff goes a long way!
I am still having camera problems but I'll try to post what I've got once I figure out how...I've just never been into cameras!
4CD, sunroof, full spare, full tank of gas and 1.3K miles on it. Paid $28.6K. And I thank all you out there in 300M land for helping me, especially you SDMike -
You can see some of it at my web site (www.300mclub.org)

Avalanche---just make sure you make the trip to Detroit in August. We want you at the head of our M parade down Woodward Avenue with a big neon sign on the roof touting our Chrysler 300M Enthusiasts club.
And you're just 17--just think of the lifetime of mods you can do on all your cars. I think you should go into the custom car business or on the design team at Daimler-Benz.
Just hope you dont need any serious warranty work. The service writer may give you a hard time after seeing all the mods.

Thought I had a similar problem in my 2000 R/T, but turned out to be a defective transmission case casting.
Hope this helps.

If anyone is having tranny problems with their
300M, contact the service manager at Carson
Chrysler in Plainfield, IN (they're on the web).
He's become an expert after working on my car the
past year. I bought in Dec. 98 and now have 35,000
miles on the clock. Car was delivered from the
factory with the famous 'valve body' defect which
manifests itself by failing to shift out of park on
cold starts even though the digital dash indicator
shows it shifting. Trans eventually engages after
a few revs and pressure is built up. Replacing this
part involves complete removal of the trans from
the car--make sure you've got a good mechanic! I
continued to have shifting problems, especially a
"thunk" on the downshift from 2nd to 1st when
coming to a stop. Dealer replaced the TCM
(transmission control module) and Speed Sensor with
no improvement. Dealer finally nailed it by
replacing the solenoid controlling 2nd gear. Works
great now and I use the Autostick all the time.
Window problems are caused by the rubber seals
being too soft. Notice the smudge marks left along
the leading edge of the glass. You can help prevent
window motor failures by keeping this leading edge
of the glass clean. If you never clean it, it
tends to get tackier and tackier especially in warm
weather putting excess strain on the hardware.

I am in the market for a new 300M.
I was wondering what the changes will be for 2002?
When will they be in show rooms?
I heard rumblings about a Special edition that will have 300 HP---is this true?
Thanks for any help!!
