Ahh ok. Good point about loss/damage part, but isn't it same in the end. Like Net/Net would be no different? May be you can walk me though an example?

My thoughts:
Let's say even if there was a total loss or damage, the Insurance company will pay out the market value of the car to replace, but a person may still owe to lease company if the lease balance is higher than the market value paid.

"If your car gets totaled, your insurance typically pays you for the current, actual value of the vehicle. However, you still owe the leasing company for the remaining payments under the lease."

Just trying to understand the scenario more.

1 other question. Is it worth it to get the Rims and Wheels package? Lets say if the tire is almost low on thread, can I just get it replaced, lets say it got a "puncture"?

0 cap cost reduction always. Also what's the final sales price. Seeing 45K off advertised on coupes based on purchase incentive but that's asking still room to negotiate. So 45K+ a 145K MSRP Coupe.

Insurance company will only pay out the lease balance, and will not make you whole based on market value. Remember, you aren't the owner of the car, the bank is.

Sell price is around 102K. cap cost reduction on paper is around 4K. So they have taken off about 41K on a leased car to get the lower pricing.

How much more room for negotiation? Dealer is saying a deal/no-deal at this point lol.

The dealer said I bring in the current car and drive out with the new, no complications, the payments just swap to the new car lease. Sounds like a pull ahead type arrangement?

39 month is the sweet spot, this month.

And, I'd take anything the dealer says with a handful of salt. It's possible your remaining payments will end up as part of your new lease. If that's the case, why pay for a car you aren't driving?

Seems an expensive way to drive 400 miles a month.
