Over the years, I've run into a situation wher I couldn't get connected to what I wanted, but could go to my next door neighbor and connect fine. We're on the end of a different phone system than they are. Different physical connection, different path. Amazed at times!

If this board is still alive and/or monitored, I'd like to know where to go to try to sort out "issues" I'm having with the new and improved login system. I've recently changed my e-mail address and my primary computer and am having trouble making things work on my new machine, even though I've registered the "new way."

I've had some issues. They told me it may be ad blockers or pop up blockers and they are working on it. Do system upgrades or changes ever go smoothly anywhere

I have just recently started experiencing a problem posting on one of the forums. My posting 'bounces' in that when I hit the post button it appears to post (the text in the box disappears as if it posted) but does not appear in the posting stream and the text reappears in the box as if I never posted it. My only clue is that it has happened since I became and Insider. Has anyone else had that problem?

We've had some glitchy situations recently. If you keep trying to post repeatedly when that happens, the system puts your posts in the spam file.

My iPhone, which never had an issue after the switchover, suddenly won't let me in.It takes me to the old forums login screen which fails of course (why is that still even an option?) and when I try to use the Insider sign in I cannot get the phone to scroll to the bottom of that page to get to the "Sign in" small print (PLEASE fix that!). Any suggestions on how to do this with an iPhone?

I had a similar problem with my iPad last week.

Shut down all your apps (double tap the home button, then swipe up for every app).

Turn your phone off, then turn it back on. Navigate to Edmunds, then sign in using the Insider credentials, then go to the forums. Should be good to go.

Nope. Me and @PF_Flyer are in an email exchange on this right now. No joy doing your suggestions, and I have gone a lot farther than that, still without success.

This is screwed up bigtime.

i just purchased a 2019 xc60 T5 momentum fwd. the MSRP is 46955 and I’m paying 500 a month, everything in, nothing extra at inception except for documents. I don’t know what MF factor was but did I get a good price. The residual is 26200. Did I get a good deal?

You should repost this on a leasing thread for Volvo; you'll likely get a better (and faster) response!

In general, though... do you really want to know? At this point, it is what it is. If you have questions about whether a lease or buy is a "good deal" by the numbers, it is best to ask ahead of time.

When I login to this forum the browser drop down shows all of my e-mail address logins for all sites. If you could fix the process so that it acts as expected, saving and smartly retrieving my username for this site, that would be nice. As part of that, there are two sequential dialogs, one for the user then one for the password. It would be nice to sign into a single dialog, as has become expected on these forums

Speaking of software bugs, I’ve noticed on my iOS devices that the emojis aren’t being dropped wherever your cursor is located but instead go straight ahead of the first character of the first line.

Kirstie... one more question! Is there any way to add a whole forum category, such as "Subaru," to our bookmark list? I see that it sorts the discussions by those most recently posted, but that is not to say someone will not revive an old topic in order to get a question answered, or post a new discussion altogether within the "Subaru" group.

Unfortunately there isn't. You would need to save it using your browser's bookmark function.

When I go into my profile and click on "edit profile fields," it shows me the values listed in each of the fields (cars interested in, location, etc.), but they are all greyed out and cannot be edited. With irony, there is a blue "save" button at the bottom, which seems to work fine. Thoughts?
