"Proteges and Canadians by mikegold_1966 Dec 11, 2002 (07:10 pm)
First of all, the Protege is the 97th most stolen car in the United States. That is why I posted that fact. Around my parts, if a car jacker sees a Protege, he will go for the Cutlass Ciera instead. Enough said I think.
As far as Canadians, we have more people living in the state of California than your entire country. The only thing Canadians are experts on are beer, donuts and hockey in that order. Also, they all love saying EH after every other word for some reason that has always perplexed me.
The lame statistics everyone is posting about their beloved Protege also amazes me. The Protege is #1 in Quebec---I would love to know your source and what documentation you have to prove this fact. Every time I have been to Montreal, I see all the Frenchies driving in around Fords and Chevy SUV's sipping on Tim Horton's coffee wearing their beloved Montreal Canadien's jerseys."
I almost violated my TH member agreement with this guy

What a fantastic post...not.
Where was that posted?? The link you provided doesn't work.
Keep up.
And the *ahem* individual (I would like to use another term...) that was talking about "Canadian Bacon" obviously doesn't understand that while jokes were being made about Canada, it was actually a satire on American Culture.
That's quite the gong show of a thread. I'll have to subscribe
Oh...And I can't wait till some of our more "outspoken" members get wind of it....hehe!

Dale: Can we have a group hug?
Clint: Happy B-Day (if it is indeed your b-day).
Dinu
(And why would I make up something like Clint's birthday? It really is today.)

Dinu
It will take about 10 days to recieve it.
Can't wait man.....I am so excited!!!!!!
Clint, today you are a man...
Hahaha!
Enjoy your early adulthood. It's amazing how quickly it goes by.

Little did I know that impertinence would do just fine.

A VERY Confused Dinu
#500. Meade got Posse post #500.
#501. I made a lame play on words (pertinent/impertinent).
#502. Darren pointed out the lameness of my little joke, by stating that impertinence is expected in the Posse topic. He also got in some good alliteration.
#503. I concurred with him.
Hope that clears things up for you!

Un-confused Dinu
PS: Teacher, is the such a word?
Drive safely!

I had to wait a week or so until the temps rose and I could get the car washed.

You know...reading Dale's post again, I'm laughing at myself.
When I read "slush," I thought she meant the drink. Not sure why...maybe it's just what I expected to hear from her! :P
Anyway, the only time I get rid of ice/slush buildup is if it's right behind the tires. Sometimes you get these huge buildups of ice from the road and when you go over a bump or slope you can feel the ice hit the ground...not good for your bumper!
Luckily we get chinooks which gives us time to wash the car and not worry about the car freezing over.
Ditto what Dinu said.
I had to wait a week or so until the temps dropped and I could get the car washed."
You waited until the temperature "dropped"? This would mean the temperature further decreased (ie. got colder). I know it's not what you meant...but it's dang fun to harass you over it.
As for the bumper, I use my runing shoes and slowly push it off...
Dinu
Where's Meade?
I haven't seen him post in a while.
