Can't tell you what 'typical' is, but Chrysler limits the MF markup to .00042.

JGC Limited 4x4 msrp 41,205
720 down 592/month

Seems high compared to some of the other deals quoted on here but IL has higher taxes which is a factor.

Yeah the tax rules in IL greatly increase your lease payment. That will change next January when a new law goes into effect that will only tax the payment not the entire purchase price.

Specifically told me they use Chrysler Capital, so they must be marking up the MF considerably on their end.

36 month lease, 7,500 miles/year (I know this seems really low.. but I'm turning in my mercedes with 17,000 miles on it after 36 months.).

And then just for kicks... 10K miles/year also.

Hi, Im lookin at a 2014 Jeep GC limited with navigation lease in MD. I was quoted a 56% residual, .0005 money factor for a 3 yr 36000 miles lease. Monthly payment comes up to 587/mo with 0 out of the pocket. After some haggling, the sales rep brought it down quickly to 549/month. I was concerned as to how quickly he brought down the monthly payment.. so I said I would get back to him.. Is this a good deal?

the base MF on the JGC Limited 4x4 is .00015 and the residual for 36/12 is 56%. If I had the selling price I could model your payment to see if you're getting a good deal.

However, if you lease in IL, the payment will be much higher as IL taxes the entire cap cost of the car, whereas in WI only the payment each month is subject to sales tax.
