Thoughts on this SO. Cal Dealer Offer:
    2015 550i
    39 Months
    10K
    MSRP: $72,050
Total Cap Cost: $65,806 (Inclusive of $2,000 Holiday Credit and Bank Acquisition Fee)
Total Cash out of Pocket $1,387 (Includes first months payment, upfront taxes, Insurance)
Monthly payment $797 (includes 8% sales tax)

My numbers work out the same as yours. Not sure you can get more off sticker than the $5K or so you've already gotten, but it can't hurt to ask. You can also use MSD to bring the MF down ... $5600 due at signing will reduce the payment (with tax) to $739.89/mo. Saves you a bit over $2300 for the life of the lease.

This month, there is a $1500 Holiday Credit on this model.. So, offer $64K and see what happens. Definitely no more than $65.5K

On a 2014? On a car that's 71k MSRP, you should get at least 10k off.

any ideas what's the numbers gonna be for 36 months, 10k a year, with 0 down.
should I ask for more discount, how to persuade them to lower price....
need some help please, never done it before myself

.00130 MF and 61% residual. $1500 Holiday Credit.

At $60K MSRP and selling price of $54,500, CAP cost of $55,225 (with acq.fee), the monthly would be $637.mo.+tax. Due at signing would be 1st payment, title/license/doc fees.

The price is pretty good.. if they stick to the base money factor and don't add any garbage fees, then that's a decent deal.

    Hello everyone,

I'm looking for BMW 528i Demo to keep my monthly payments as low as possible. I have a number of questions:
1.How does MF and residual differ in the case of a demo that already has 5K miles? Normally it's 0.0013 and 61% for 36mo/10K on a brand new car.
    2. Does the $1500 innovation credit apply to a demo car?
    3. If the dealer is advertising 47K on a demo that was originally 55K, is there room for further negotiation?
    4. Let's say I'm able to get 45K on that car, is the residual calculated as 61% of 47K or 55K. Just confused with demo if the price they're advertising is considered the MSRP?

    Thanks!

    1) Assuming the demo is eligible for the new car program, they will deduct $0.20/mi. from the normal residual. So, minus $1000.

    2) Holiday Credits, this month. If it qualifies for the new car program, then it will qualify for the credit.

    3) All prices are negotiable. We can't predict what the dealer might do.

    4) Residual percentage is always applied to the full MSRP

    No.. that is incorrect.

    2014 528i residual is 61% for 36mo, 10K/yr. 58% is the 36/15 residual. $1500 Holiday Credit

I am currently in the infancy stages of negotiations on a 2014 535d MSRP 66,100 (Premium Package, Luxury Line, Lighting Package, Rear View Camera,Heated Front Seats, Park Distance Control, Harman Kardon Sound System)

    Quote Sheet is as follows
    66,100 Market Value Selling Price
    9,500 Discount
    500 Rebate
    56,100 Adjusted Price

    Doc Fee 125.00
    Tax 3506.25
    Non Tax Fees 255.38
    Net Price 59,986.63

I'm new with this but trying to read most of these posts. What are the non tax fees?
Also there are 3 different residual amounts listed based on a 36 month lease
( 39,660, 38,999, and 38,338). I thought residual was solid non negotiable number.

Non-taxable fees.. those are government fees, like title/registration.

The different residuals all differ by 1% of MSRP.. I'd guess they are quoting different mileage allowances.

Don't know where you live or your tax rate.. but, I get $519.mo. + tax, with no other additions..

Additions would be $725 acq.fee, title/license/doc fees and tax.. If those equal around $2500, then you are in business.. Very reasonable payment for a $62K MSRP car.

This forum has helped me greatly in purchasing my last two BMW's so wanted to share my lease info on a 535xi that I just did yesterday. It took a little work but not too much. Our city only has a single BMW dealership so w/o having to travel to another city and the hassle of that I got the numbers I could live with.
    • Black Sapphire
    • Black Nappa Leather
    • Luxury Line
    • Cold Weather Package (heated front/rear seats & steering wheel)
    • Driver Assistance Package (rear camera, head-up display, park distance)
    • Premium Package (power tailgate, comfort keyless access, satellite radio)
    MSRP = $66,310.00 Sale Price $59880.00 + $725 Acquisition Fee = $60,605 Cap Cost
    61% Residual and .00130 MF
    First Payment only
    39mos/10k
$694/mo which includes state sales tax

This deal includes the $2k Holiday Cash and also a $1k Black Friday cash incentive. I was told the BF incentive was national but I don't know and don't really care one way or the other as long as its figured into the deal. We had to order the car, not much in the way of selection on the lot.

Hope this helps. Welcome comments or questions.

Congrats! I just also leased a 535 (535i, not 535xi) with the same options exactly a week ago (see couple of posts above)...but there wasn't a $1k BF incentive at the time.

Luckily the dealer gave me $11k off MSRP (with the holiday cash). They were trying to rid of their 2014 stock I suppose. Only 2 left on he lot at the time, which is why I got a good deal.

This forum has also educated me immensely on the ins and outs of leases. I feel better equipped now, as I can actually calculate what it costs the dealer to do a deal, and compare it to what they've offered me.

Next time, I'm going to take advantage of the MSD's! (7 MSD's for BMW here in California)

    Hello All,
So I got a quote today in seattle for 528xdrive MSRP $60350
10k 39 months $699 month total $6000 down, out of which 4900 is for MSD. Rest of the breakdown on $6000 is $699 first month payment an $425 in dealer fees

$699 month includes taxes. Base payment is $636 month with taxes $699 tax rate of 9.8%

Selling price on the car $56260
Residual is 36,813.50 if I base this off MSRP its 61%
With the MSD MF is .00121 they did not tell me MF without the MSD

I know its been posted here that 7% off MSRP + $2000 holiday credit seems to be ideal

It sounds expensive to me, any thoughts and help is appreciated

Residual is 36,813.50 if I base this off MSRP its 61%

    Yes... it's too much..

Selling price should be another $2000 lower.. The money factor is marked up the maximum (should be .00081 with MSDs). The 61% residual is correct (as it must be).

Lower selling price and base money factor will knock about $100/mo. off the price, post-tax.. That's what you should be looking for... $599/mo, with $5200 upfront (payment and each MSD would be $100/mo. less).

I'm new here. This forum is GREAT. I am looking at leasing a 2015 528i with MSRP of 53,950. If I could please get some advice as to what can I expect to be the best price. I would really appreciate it. I will be looking for 15k a year and I will definitely max out the MSD's. I had leased a BMW back in 2004 so I'm not sure if I would qualify for any return customer rebates. I am in Southern California with 8% tax. Thank you in advace

Lately we've been advising 6-7% off MSRP as the selling price before the $2000.

    .00130 and 58% for 39/15. $2000 holiday cash.

    what is the selling price?

$500/mo (with tax?) is a strong price on a car that stickers for $58K. The MSD's certainly help.
