    Thanks. I guess I am looking more for opinions about the better time to lease financially...while the residual will be better with a new model, presumably the purchase price will be higher. As a potential first time leaser, just curious what the best bet is and if I am smarter to wait a few months.

    You are correct. higher residuals are often offset by smaller discounts from sticker. at the moment, there is a small difference in MF from 2014 to 2015 (.00130 vs .00133)

    what are people getting for a selling price? I'm currently looking at the xdrive 28i with heated seats and the panoramic roof. The starting deal offered is:

    selling price $33472
    Fees $399
    1.29 MF and 62% residual
    3/12k
    0 down except for first month
    $439/month excluding tax

    I'm in MA by the way

    The MF is .00129, not 1.29, just so you know.

    I don't know what the tax rate is in MA, but that quote seems high.

    With the numbers you've given me, I get a pre-tax payment of $382.57/mo for 36 months.
