Just leased a 2014 Enclave Leather Group AWD with Sunroof, MSRP = $47,080. Settled on $600 down, $525/month, 39/mo 12k miles. How did I do?

I'm leasing an Enclave now which I'm turning in Wed. I have decided to get another and the dealer has given me these numbers: $41500 asking $2900 in rebates trading in my lease 3 months early with 4 payments left $531 trade in payoff of $20500. With all that new lease would be $484 with 39MO@12k. This is on a base model with a few upgrades no leather package. Is this a good deal or could I get the payment lower?

I leased a base model(convenience package) in October for $433 with 39M@12k. No money down, only first month payment due at signing. I also sold my leased 2011 Pilot to the same dealer for $1300 profit(I had no payment left). If your return lease vehicle is in good condition you should have enough equity to cover the 4 remaining payments.

At that time I got about $1700 in incentives. I think you could do better.

1.55% MF and 61% residual for Base model.. 36mo, 10K/yr. Premium or Leather, deduct 3%

2.05% MF and 69% residual. for 24mo, 10K/yr,.

Premium or Leather model, deduct 3%

$900 lease cash.

There may be a supported 24 month lease, but I'm not sure what the qualifications are.

If so, those numbers are 2.05% MF and 66% residual with $900 lease cash.

1.22% MF and $1300 lease cash.

With the 1SD package, the residual is 60% for 36/12. Without the 1SD package, the residual drops to 57% for 36/12.

24 month leases are not a good value - they use the standard (read: high) MF and residual, so your payments will be quite high.

For 36 month, 15K per year leases, the MF is 1.22% and the residual is 58%. There is also $1300 of lease cash available.

Not exactly sure how GM handles leases with more miles than that per year, but I'm guessing it's charged at a per mile basis.

We are doing Buick pull ahead program, Buick is paying our last 4 lease payments on our 2012 Enclave
I think this is a solid deal

I would concur that this is a solid deal; you must have secured a great cap cost.

Yes, I feel confident that this is a solid deal. However, we cannot take delivery of the Enclave until the seatbelt recall has been done by the dealer and Buick has the necessary parts on back order. All of the Enclaves are sitting on the lot with signs on them that say: DO NOT Test Drive or Sell.

Just for comparison, our 2012 Enclave Convenience FWD had a MSRP of $38,195 and we did a 24mo lease with 10,000 miles a year. $841 due at signing and payments were $333/mo plus tax. The 2014 Enclave is much nicer and looks better. So, paying about $20/mo more and getting 12,000 miles a year seems like a no brainer. We just have to wait for recall parts to come in so dealer can deliver the Enclave to us.

There are two residuals for the Enclave, depending on the packages.. For just the premium, it's the residual I gave.. If you have package 1SL or 1SN, that lowers the residual by 3%.

What packages are those? No idea.

36/15 - 1.35% and either 55% or 58% residual. $1300 lease cash.

39/15 - same 1.35% MF and either 53% or 56% residual. Same $1300 lease cash.

hi....I AM interested in 2014 Enclave premium group. 36/15 and 24/24 / I see the 1.35/58 above for the 36/15. Do you happen to kow the 24/24. I see that Buick is offering that as an option for this car. Also, is there any difference between 2014 and 2015 in the actual car or in the lease numbers that might favor one over the other?

The information I have shows a standard MF and a standard residual for 24 month leases on the Enclave ... and I can't seem to find out what 'standard' is.

I'm not aware of any changes between the 2014 and 2015 models. Generally, the residuals on the newer model year are higher, but the MF is often adjusted to compensate (ie, they are higher as well).

Got a lease quote today of 597.00 per month. With 2600 down which is first month and taxes on a 2014 AWD Leather Group for 18k miles a year. MSRP was 47,230. It was closing time so I am getting a quote tomorrow to buy the car outright. But, how do I figure out if that is a good lease price? Thanks..

what was the lease term and selling price? how much of the $2600 was going to cap cost reduction?

Hi, its 36 month 18k a year.. I did not get a selling price yet.. will get it in the morning. 2600 they said was just 1st month and taxes. Sorry, I am new to all this.

Thanks.. I was told the price is 44986.00 2610 down with is 1st month payment of 592.00 taxes and dmv fees. He also said there is 2300 in leasing cash figured in. Not sure what that means. Again 592.00 per month 18k per year with 2610.00 down..
The selling price of the car if I did not lease was 3000k less do to rebates..

My tax rate is 8.125%.. But, i thought I am paying the tax up front in the 2600? He broke down the 2600 as 592.00 plus 1924.00 in taxes and the rest in DMV fees.

In NY, it was my impression that the payment is taxed. In NJ, however, tax for the entire lease is calculated and collected up front.

NY is like NJ... calculated on the payments, but collected upfront.

Can't tell you what will happen with the numbers in July, but the current numbers are 1.35% MF and 58% residual.
