1.00% APR and 56% residual. I see $1000-$1500 lease cash.

Residual is always calculated on MSRP. The financing is applied to an average of the CAP cost and residual amount.

Thanks a lot! So today using this info in negotiating, we drove home in a brand new 2014 Escape SE AWD with 2.0L EcoBoost and Equipment Group 201A (SE Convenience package) for $319/mo, $760 total out of pocket, 36 mo., 10.5K/yr. Also they took my leased Chrysler 200 V6 with two more payments of $308 left on it. Wonder if we got a good deal.

Hi, could I get the Florida MF and residual on the following 2 cars with either a 24 month/12k mile per year or 36 month/12k mile per year lease:

2014 Ford Escape SE with Leather Package FWD
2014 Ford Escape Titanium FWD

Neither with Navigation... does the MF or Residual change with 2.0L Ecoboost? If so, could I get the amounts with both options?

I feel like my request is overly complicated... but if anyone can break it down for me I'd really appreciate it.

Numbers don't change based on options, just trim level.

Having said that, I find that the residual and MF are the same for both the SE and Titanium.

24/12 - 63% and .25%

36/12 - 56% and 1.0%

$1500 lease cash

Here is Northern California (bay area). It's what I am trying to push back but only heard it's non-sense. Escape SE AWD. MSRP $27,700-ish. 10.5K miles/yr, 36-month, $0 down (all fees to Net Cap, $25100), MF %1 (0.00042), Residual 57%, CA Tax 8.5%. Lease calculator shows $276/m + tax, which I asked. Is it really non-sense? MF for the trim is 1%, isn't it? The best I got so far is $300/mo. Should I look around more? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes... your lease numbers are correct. $1500 lease cash on this model in the San Francisco region. At your numbers, $276/mo.+tax is correct.

Whether your CAP number is realistic, I can't say. About $400 in title/doc fees in CA. Ask the dealer what CAP they are using, and what APR.

Thank you, @kyfdx. Updated my original posting a bit. Net Cap is around $25100, which includes $1400 of doc/lic/acquisition/first pay. Calculator shows $276/mo. Can't make it happen though.

Yeah... it's hard to know where to negotiate, until the dealer breaks down their numbers for you.. Of course, if no one bites, that might be a good sign of where the bottom is..

Got one @ $298.xx/m + tax. $0 down and all fees to CAP. Escape SE 4WD 2014 with 201A option ($1400 higher MSRP than option 200A). As the forum advisers said, I found MF 1% (0.00042) and 57% residual is correct, based on 10500 miles/yr, $0.15/mile thereafter. It took 2-3 days to shop around by online/emails, and when finally found a dealer who agreed, it only took 30 mins to get all paperworks done. FYI, my tax is 8.5%. Bay area, CA.

I was hoping for information on 2014 and 2015(didn't see a 2015 lease thread yet) model years for a couple of lease options under consideration.

36 months 15000mi,
36 month/ 16500mi.

I've heard several different money factors from different dealers.

From what I've read above, do SE and Titanium trim levels always have the same residual and money factors?

2014 - 1.0% and $1500 lease cash. 36/15 residual is 54%. Subtract 1% for 16.5K miles

2015 - 2.75% and $1000 lease cash. No residual for 2015 Escape just yet.

For 2014, SE and Titanium trim levels have the same residual and MF.

56% residual. No MF information available, which leads me to believe there is no support on the 2014's.
